Epic for sure! Its always great to see how big and fast they grow outdoors. Gosh wouldn't they just allow it to grow wild and free man. Go to PO and you won't regret it man. I have gotten a few clones from them. I drive an hour and half one way to get clones and totally worth it.

fucking hysterical!!! i bet there's pics of plants on google maps somewhere. there's some funny shit out there. just starting this thread to see if there's a smoke report. i have some holy smokes' malawi gold too that i'm counting as my "haze" plant to breed with jack etc. hybrids. i'm hoping it lives up to the trippiness rep that most hazes don't. mine got burned last winter sadly when i stopped running my fan 24/7 and forgot to turn it on one night because of uppity neighbor syndrome. it was a lot more promising than the almost totally stony start i saw out of the highland thai i had it with that took forever to flip and turned hermie on me when it finally did. the MG was way more co-operative until the first 4 out of 5 plants i flipped sexed male that is. i was stressed out on that last one.I hope it shows up on Google maps next year

just finished skimming and was hoping for more detail in the smoke report than
i really liked that report on mulanje gold and it's visual effects. i got the malawi/mulanje/mozambique threebie offer with my malawis. they alternate their freebies. the last time i saw, the sativa giveaway was back. only one of the mozambiques made it due to mold and dry out issues cramming my humidity dome with peat pellets, and it was a male. i smoked the leaf of it, and it had more of a dried basil/anise flavor than the durban bud i was gifted that tasted like a straight up stick of licorice, but that was just leaf, and maybe they changed the name because it has more of a spice taste than pure licorice taste.
rock on everyone growing REAL weed. for now, i'm sticking to indoor hybrids mostly with jack's cleaner 2 being my favorite as it does visuals, "warm blanket" euphoria with a side order of mild stone and is really very touchy feely. i bet that crossing that lemony strain with hopefully a lemon pheno male of MG produces something epic. without testing it, malawi gold is going to be my choice male, but i'm thinking of using several males by making pollen bags out of tape and typing paper to keep my entire room from seeding.

any further light you can shine on how trippy your malawi turned out will be appreciated until i see the final product out of my own this winter. this is the first time i've seen anyone else growing their gear. i like the idea of malaw because it's lemony and i'd thought of crossing it with cali-o, it's supposed to be as trippy as thai, though not all thai is trippy, and simply because it's new genetics in a world full of watered down hazes that aren't as trippy as haze should be.
hopefully, in the future, breeders stop regurgitating haze and re-visit the landrace strains holy smokes, gage green, ace & world of seeds etc. are preserving to improve the highs that generic hazes suck so much at compared to truly trippy gear like real columbian gold. between lowryders and jack herers etc., it should be possible to make trippier strains using un-diluted IBLs like malaw and possibly delta 9 mekong haze, though that one doesn't like to pop without a humidity dome and heating mat at least as i and another member discovered.
that tree is enormous though! i can't picture fitting that on a SCROG screen without a lot of pruning. hope you get a lot of weight out of your gal. +REP and all that good stuff for growing the good stuff more growers should be on to but aren't.
that could mean you're too stoned to move or think too. the second report where you talk about it inspiring creativity helped a bit more, but how is it on trippiness? did it mess with your perception at all? i like visual strains. that's what i'm hoping for out of my own holy smokes malawi gold. i'm glad to see others are testing their gear now that afropips is blazing with jah. ace has malawi too. if the HS version doesn't measure up to the columbian gold i started out on and was spoiled by, i'll try ace's version to see how it compares, but what i sampled from the early harvest was promising. it seemed more euphoric and motivational than trippy early on.Here is the smoke report -

no shit! that's really true! hemp not only has stronger fibers than wood, but it's TWENTY times more sustainable AND it even nitrifies the soil to boot! it's god's greatest gift, and i believe that i COULD save the planet with all of the beneficial, non-toxic things it can do like replace synthetic latex in paints. besides that, GETTING HIGH raises people's spirituality level as it did in the summer of love when communes with a "can't we all just get along and help each other out" rose up along with a "WTF is wrong with the status quo?!" QUESTIONING OF AUTHORITY that makes weed such a threat to the fabric of our corrupt society.
why do you think the feds refuse to allow DEMOCRACY to happen in regards to weed being de facto legalized now in 2 states as well as legal for med use in many more? it's a threat to many elitist industries as well as the dumbed down mindset i think is INTENTIONAL, studies have shown that texting and short attention span TV programming like sponge bob makes it hard for people to concentrate or perform any critical thinking. then there's video games, which like literal toys that don't require you to use your imagination do the same thing. the topic was just on scientific american fronteirs recently where alan alda stomped a 16 year old admitted multi-tasker in a simple test to determine if red & blue bricks change position on a monitor. he started at 100%, and stayed there for half of the test before starting to dip where the ADD poster boy's results immediately started diving.
getting high enhances creativity big time. it encourages random synapse firing that allows people to make new connections. it virtually fueled the jazz era. several famous jazz musicians blazed weed, and there's even a song or two about it. such creativity is a tool to awaken the thinking of at least some citizens who aren't exactly critical thinking types, and in these dark days of corporate raping of america, a little paranoia is a good thing if you ask me. complacency is the problem.
i find it no coincidence that at least SOME of the occupy protesters are also weed smokers. getting high just puts people in that rastafarian good vibes state of mind where you're more likely to question wars for oil, and oil should be our number 1 enemy as it's destroying the planet. that's part of the reason i think foxnews, who have a bogus court decision that grants them the legal RIGHT to lie like motherfuckers, made such a point of trying to discredit occupy as a bunch of stoner wackos, but you sure don't see them criticizing REAL fucking nutcases in their pet teabagger movement. man those are some foaming at the mouth crazy fuckers! if they got high, they might mellow the fuck out, but a harmonious society isn't in their plans.

weed isn't just good for the ozone by converting C02 into oxygen, it's mental effects lower a persons need to be a constant consumer. you get high, you don't need to drive all over unsatisfied with life buying crap you don't really need, you just put some tunes or a movie on, and you're good.
yes, weed IS a godsend and those in power know it is. something truly good STARTED happening in the 60s and weed was behind it. you need an uppity angry scared society to get it to go along with wars for oil or whatever. fighting seems stupid when you're high and happy.

It rained on Saturday Nov 17th and the WOG held up fine with all of the netting support. The Ugly Reveg clone did not fare so well. It was completely bent over like a LordJin model

malawi's one of the last legit landrace sativas. i'm dubious of claims of panama and columbian being legit and wonder if those are just different mexican commercial seeds as those strains were "extinct" until just a few years ago while afropips was based in africa, or at least had access to all of it's top strains since the late 90s i think. with so many hazes watered down and tired and name stealing for other strains, it's nice to know that you can still get old school genetics. i can't wait to give my malawi a lesson in indoor bondage and get "thaied up". it should make EVERYTHING better if not as cash crappable, but who cares about QUANTITY? right?
