This is my second grow.. My first was cut short in the early flower stage. My plant is around the 30 day mark (From Seed), and quickly running out of vertical space. I plan to use this box for vegging only and getting a tent to flower.. My plant was topped and has fully recovered and here we are today!

Any tips on any aspect of this grow would be helpful. This is a temporary setup until I get my growth tent. On an 18/6 light schedule. She was topped about a week ago at what would have been the 5th node. Her internodal spacing is VERY compact. Which leads me to believe this bag seed strain is indica dominant . So any experienced growers with advice? If so don't hold back

I forgot to mention this is MG potting soil and I know it isn't good but it's what I've got for now until I transplant. Also she was thirsty and had just gotten watered at the time of these pics. She was a little dry and curled but I suspect the watering will perk her up

Looks great man, twisted leaves looks like a result of the soil like you were mentioning,, if it's potting soil it already has added nutrients in it so you shouldn't be adding liquid nutrients,, I would transplant into a soil less mix with no added nutrients and continue my feed if you plan on adding liquid nutes, but don't add any more nutes till you transplant

Also if you are running out of vertical space and don't have another tent with more room I suggest flowering soon, like you assumed if it's indica dominant then it won't stretch to hard but you don't want to risk them touching the lights and hurting your harvest,, have you tried supercropping yet? That's what I do to tame my plants height if low stress training isn't enough

Lookin good,, perlite is good but I would recommend something that has a mix of peat moss as well as small trace minerals and perlite, I can post a pic of my soil here in a couple hours, perlite would work but it has a quick drainage so you'll be blowing through nutes fast with your plants barely having enough time to absorb it,, remember when adding nutes follow the schedule, feed water water feed water water so your not flooding the plant with assloads of nutrients

IMG_4152.JPG IMG_4151.JPG IMG_4149.JPG IMG_4153.JPG Sorry for the delay, I'll throw up what I use, the ingredients are labeled on the back,, you don't want anything with added nutrients! Most soil will have added nutrients and some bags you really have to look for to see, should say somewhere on the bag though that it'll feed your plants for 3-6months or so and you don't want that if your adding your own nutes,, should look relatively like the picture I put above,, that being said though your little miss looks very good!!! and looks like it took its topping beautifully, I would keep up the lst and just keep trying to promote side branching so you can have more bud sites,,and keep up to date on here I want to see her growth
