In my opinion, plant size, and to a portion stretch, is related to container size mostly, with strain/genetics playing a small, very small, part. (However, with CFL, that plays a HUGE PART. If you are growing CFL, and want less stretch, keep that baby 2 in. or less to light.) Why? A plant can only possibly get as big as it's roots will allow. You can grow a small plant in a 6in. container, but not a 8 ft. tall one. Small container=small plant. Larger container, or in the backyard=big plant. I know this to be true because this last summer I planted a container garden in front of my house. Peppers and such. Basil, etc. The smaller containers produced the smallest plants. All across the board. Cannabis in no different than any other plant. It's not special in that manner. It is in other manners/ways
So if you want a smaller plant, use a small container. If you want to keep stretch down, LST. I was able to LST my plant all the way to flower. Once you get her trained to bend, you can do it as long as you need to. Now maybe I fucked up on that, I know I didn't do right in the fact that I didn't let her face the light in a horizontal manner. Hmm. Maybe that was cause I LST her too much? Wow. Well, now I have some self doubt lol. But yes, you can lst even in flower. I did lol, and she didn't break. (I'm really baked lol) Sorry.
Ok!! Stop! eeercchhh!!! brakes on!!!! enough!!! (Listening to some Sublime. Great stuff. And some STP. And some Creed.)
I think I lost my point. Hope this helps lol. I'm gonna go find my brain lol.
