Honey oil curing

I just made this honey oil here and i let it sit with warm water in another bowl under it for about an hour then popped the bubbles and reheated the water and left it again for about 20 minutes. Froze it then scraped it all into a pile. Thats from the popcorn buds from 2 plants. Is that not gonna be enough to get the Butane out of it? I hear its pretty harsh anyways but if i gotta melt the stuff again i'll be sure to. Thanks for any help.

when the butane gasses off your good to go. what you got there is tar if you want oil take the stuff and add a little 94-99 % alchhol let that gas off then you'll have oil. It wil not dry out again.

Its like that cause its frozen. when i take it out into room temp it all melts back into an oil. Just seems easier to scrap when its frozen.

without being treated with alcohol or some other solvent it should be kind of pasty hard not liquid. you got me, I've only made the stuff a couple dozen times ond only half dozen on my own. Always the same way extract with butane into a flat glass pan let the butane gas off. scrape the pan,put into small mason jar or viel. Clean glass with about an ounce of 99% alcohol pour whats left into the jar mix well let gass off again. If it's all done right you'll get an golden amber oil. Looking much like clean motor oil.
