How can I make Rick Simpson oil more liquidity?

Hi! I am a total noob at this so please go easy on me :D. My cat has cancer and I am trying to treating him with RSO.

I have 5g of RSO which I did not make myself. I tried giving my cat a dab but I am surprised how thick and greasy the substance is. Basically giving it to him was a disaster...I kind of smeared it on the roof of his mouth, but felt that in the end 80% just smears in my finger which I cannot get off.

Anyway, per Rick Simpsons website with regards to treating pets...suggestions are to treat pets with .1 grams a day (or 2 dosages with .05g)

I was thinking of diluting 1 g of RSO with 10 to 20 ml of another oil (olive oil?) by heating the two up and drawing it in multiple 5ml syringes to shoot in my cats mouth for later

Is the right way to go? Does anyone have suggestions how to make it more ingestible (less grease like) for a pet? Right now the RSO just simply to greasy like to give him.

Cats do present special problems with their teeth and claws.

A syringe is about the only way I would try it, whether injecting liquid or a cannacap.

Unfortunately the term RSO doesn't define what you have, because it ranges from being extracted using light Naphtha and purged in a rice cooker, to cannabis concentrates extracted using other means and called RSO. I salute Rick, but not extracting with Naphtha. Do you know how your concentrate was extracted?

Here is a link to Holy Anointing and Holy Shit sublinguals that we've used successfully for both folks and pups with cancer, but have yet to try it on cats.

The SPCA does list the cinnamon it also contains as safe for both dogs and cats, so you might give it a try.

I ended up mixing the RSO with olive oil. 5g RSO with 100 ml of olive oil and placing the mix in the oven at 80 C for about 10-15 minutes. It mixed very well and I was able to easily draw it up with a syringe and give it to my cat. I am giving him .5 ml, 2x/day.

so far he is taking well to it. Just hope it cures him.

Thank you for the response on this thread.
