I'm a little concerned though... it's been two weeks, today, of flowering and no sign of pistols yet. I used bushmaster (hence the bushyness I love so much), but could that have delayed flowering a bit? It says on the bottle it hastens flowering but I don't know... only used it twice before and only after they showed sex. I rushed this batch a bit, they were pretty small when I put them into flowering (5 inches tall max).

Any thoughts?

Got some more pics, not the best but my camera is from 2003 so yeh...

Im getting worried they may be stretching a bit too fast, I was expecting colas to start forming by now...

hi waited for my plants to show pre-flower still on 18/6 light cycle (it took from seed ab out 4 weeks till preflower showed up) only then i changed for 12/12, so when i started flowering stage i knew that it was only females

but one thing for sure after they start bud formation, every day u will see differences some nights at the begginig of flower it grow about 3 1/2 inches :)

I know I should have waited for pre-flowers to show but I was a bit impatient. They are from female seeds though, same as my last grow and they were %100 female. I'm not worried about the sex, but I put them in flower when they were small because I wanted to keep them from becoming monsters.... looks like thats not going to happen lol.

I have a lot of side branches, way too many I think. I mean at least 7 per plant, hence why they are so dense. I was originally going to do SOG and have single colas. Would removing the side branches help initiate the primary cola? Maybe give better lite into the bottom of the plant?

Thanks guys, I just don't want to fuck this up.

it's 600w on a lumatech digital ballast, should be enough and it's like jesus walked into the room when I open it. So I think I'm set with lights.

I also did a bit of research as well. I used Bushmaster, which is cytokine based. It's effects have been a bit more powerful than expected so I sprayed them with a bit of superthrive, an auxin. Some people claim it hinders flowering but I never had that issue before and this is the first time I HAVEN'T used it from start to finnish... so what the hell. Besides, it will stop the side branch growth, which there are too many of.

Ok guys, I made another post in the marijuana problems forum... namely because I forgot I had this thread.

Anyway, here is how they are doing:

4th week of flowering.

I had to cut off most side branches, there was no way they could support colas and they prevented light from reaching lower into the canopy.

I'm having issues with stretching. I don't know if they are starting to create REAL colas/bud yet or not. I have bushmaster though, should i use it? Thats what made all those side branches in the first place but it it may have been too early to have used it.

Anyway, thanks for any help/advice any one can give me!
