how is she/he coming

it sound like you are watering way to often. you should let the soil dry almost completly before you water again. i water like once every 5-7 days. check the weight of you pot when in it is dry and then remember that.

ye i thought from pics those lights seemed yellowish, u want bluish light for veg. the daylight (6500k) cfls will work altho u say ur lights are 5000k which will work also. Ur lights also seem to be bout right in distance from tops.

do the leaves have a crispy texture?

i just found out i had the wrong kelvin of light i had the more 3000k light then the 5000k light i just got 3 new bulbs that are 27watts each. that are now the blue spec. now could this be whats causing my plant prob i mean what can the wrong kelvin of light do.

If the soil is becoming hard when it dries then you most likely will want to add some peat moss or vermiculite in your next soil mix. I had the same problem when I grew in Miracle Gro "Organic Choice" and the plant were literally suffocating. Once I changed the mix that they were in they nearly tripled in size and are doing great.

you might want to look at 42 watt cfl bulbs as well one of the highest wattages you can get for a standard light fixture medium base, and quite effective. You can never overkill having too much lighting when it comes to your ladies especcialy when it comes to having a grow under cfl's. Which I am currently doing as well.

I'm in agreement with g0nz0. I have 3 42watt cfls grouped together over the tops of each of my plants, and I can see the difference. My nodes are now only 1/2" apart at most where before I had a lot of stretchin. I also have some 23watters down alongside of my plants for the undergrowth and it's really bushing out. It's a pain in the rump adjusting all my lights twice a day, which is why I've ordered a 400watt hps setup and mh conversion for my next grow.

this plant didnt make it sorry i didnt update that.... but i do plan to upgrade to better lights im just now getting on my 2nd grow... doing way better
