How long after watering until leaves look lively?!

Hey guys , this is my second grow so I’m still learning. I have 2 plants in 5 gallon pots to finish the rest of its cycle . Both are 1 month old from time of sprouting. The GSC strain looked floppy a bit from yesterday and worse this morning. I lifted the pot and it definitely seemed lite and also soil seemed dry . I watered it 4 hrs ago and I “kinda” see improvement but I thought after watering any plant it takes maybe an hour or so and they look healthy again. Please advise . See pictures below . Thanks

I had something similar after I transplanted took about 3-4 days to see them start to look healthy again. From my experience.

Yes my looks like picture on the left !! Except it’s been over a week since transplant and they were doing good until a few days ago. I can see the roots at the bottom of the holes in the pot but they are not sticking out of them or anything and it’s a 5 gallon pot so a lot of people are able to flower with that size.

Here are my babies today ... were so close to harvest.
I transplanted about a month into veg. I don’t think it was any longer then 4-5 days for it to become beautiful again. When I transplanted I only went about half way in the pot and filled the other half up with soil as I held the plant. I transplanted only into a 3gallon because of space. Next round I’ll be sure to do the 5gallon to give the roots more space to grow. If you watered again today. I would let it dry out on top. And then feed it. Wait a day and water her. I will say I am a first time grower so maybe someone else can give you better advice. I can honestly say the last two weeks have been the hardest for me. My ladies are still pushing. I hope they recover they have to be treated like babies :)
