Hi. I just got 34 seeds. 17 bc mango and 17 bc god bud and i was wondering how long could the seedling live in a peat puck before need to be transplanted? Would a T5 8 watt support them for a week? from sprout.
Hey thanks for your words. But i know how to clone and used to dealing with clones. I got some seeds and wondering how long they can survive in a peat puck. I got a hum dome and 25 peat pucksI stricktly use jiffy pucks, they are the easiest way i have been able to clone. 100% success with them, in 7 days they root, 7" humidome, 23watt cfl, 22 watt heatmat. the heatmat and the tall dome are what helped me go from about 60% success to 100% success every time .you just plop them right into your medium of choice once they root and your off and running. dont know how long you can leave them in (with no medium) the pucks.
If your interested I'll spell out my cloning technique in detail, it works out real good, and fast. I also do a "pre-veg" that in my opinion helps out a ton during veg, and that pays off in flower, its all about the roots.
Good luck
Good answer. Thanks for the info. Im starting to like seeds more. cept the part that they arent all females haha. Can you start pre flowering after you transplant them? The mango is sappose to start 12/12 after proven vigorous. 1-2 weeks after seed sprout. rep +i started seeds in peat pucks i'd say between week 2 and 3 you'll start seeing roots out the bottom i would transplant them within a few days after that but I've left them longer untill there was a lot of roots and they still looked fine.
