how long do I wait to water my plants after recovering from over watering?

So I made the classic noob mistake and had my plants (clones from a dispensary) to close to the lights and I overwatered. I shocked the shit out of the plants I'm sure. I have put them in new soil and have been watching them closely, they seem to be trying to recover. My question is more directed to how long to wait to start watering again. The soil i put them in was mostly dry already and its a day or 2 now. I don't want to loose these girls

yo figure out what the same pot weighs with medium only get used to the weight of that pot then one that is totally soaked ....always go as big as you can with the pot too . when the soil pulls away from the side of pot you can water and the top layer of medium is not really wet ..but the weight of the pot is how I tell automatically ..always better too little water than too much

Any suggestions? I didnt even know they made them, let alone how they work.

Any garden center like home depot has them, it's just a probe and gauge that tells how moist the soil is and they're cheap.
