How long does fertilizer in water last?

I dissolved some Big Bloom in a gallon of water and I wanted to know how long I can keep using it? Does it get old or lose potency after awhile? Its probably a little over a week old right now.

Thanks.

I've been running a test, where I have my base nutrient(Flora Nova Bloom) in a reservoir diluted at full strength. I keep it bubbling with an air stone. It takes me about a month to use up the 27 gallon res and my ph and ec remain the same the entire time.

Id imagine if you shake your gallon of nutrients regularly you should be fine. But if your worried and lack a way testing ph and EC(ppm tds) just mix up another batch, one gallon is not a lot of nutrients.

...if you'd add some bubbles and keep temps in check, you can leave it around for a long while. The bubbles keep oxygen in the water, making it hard for fungi to live....fungi will evolve in still, warm water.

So that will meen that not alot of water evaporated in that time, right? I would think the constant bubbling will affect the ec, since the water evaporates..

I premix 5 gallons of my nutes and run a airstone. I haven't had any problems or lose of potency.
