how long does it take to show sex under cfl's?

i was wondering how long it takes for a plant to show sex...?? also does a male plant or female take longer? my setup is pretty micro only 3 26watt cfls and 1 plant. ive been on 12/12 for almost 2 weeks and cant tell shit.... +rep for any good answers lol

Well im at my first cfl grow, and it took mine about 3 weeks in 12/12 to show first hairs.

My cfl grow took about a week and a half.... check out my grow, its still in progress. :)

it could be weak lighting i guess idk but.....the problem could be that ur letting light come into where the plants are and if the 12 hours of darkness are interrupted by light that fuks with the plant and wont let it begin budding...the dark cycle must be uninterrupted and be constant...so lights should go off at the same time everyday and stay off without any light coming in
