Its about that time...How long should i let them hang before i check there moistness?

let them hang until you can snap a limb... then trim (if you havent done so) and start curing... if you trim the buds before you hang them they dry slower... less leaf surface for the plant to transpire through... but its a lot easier to trim them wet than it is to dry... imho theres my 2 cents

dude what are you saying. wrong. trim your bude on the branch first then hang till very dry on the outer side about 4 to 5 days. cut but off branch and put in a paper bag for a day then in a jar.back and forth till its cured to your likeing.

i do trim my buds before i hang them.. just wasnt sure if he did... thats why i said the trim them if you havent part... and in my experienecs it does take longer to dry if you trim the buds before you hang them... the leaves cant transpire the water with them as fast because of the lost leaf surface... which makes it harder to trim them after they dry because the fan leaves within the buds have dried and curled around the bud... you get a much more even and slightly faster dry if you dont trim before you hang, but it ends up being much more difficult to trim.. i agree totally with you that you should trim before you hang... i personally
1) trim fan leaves and buds
2)hang individual branches to dry for about 5 to 7 days
3)place buds upright in mason jars and burp them mulitple times a day
i dont agree with moving them back and forth between a jar and a brown bag... all your doing is ruptering your trichs and losin those precious crystals you have worked so hard to grow... to each their own.. i wont tell you your wrong because everyone has their own thing... thats just something i disagree on.. but im with you on everything else..

yousaid here that triming your buds first makes the buds dry slower, thats wrong.
not true if your doing it gently.you get a better cured bud.
and yes your right many many many diffrent ways to cure. hell we all can't be the sameSimilar threads
