How Many CFM do I need?

I'm looking to upgrade my flowering room from a closet grow to a grow tent. I have spec'd out a 3'x3'x6.5' tent with total volume of 58.5 ft^3. I plan on running somewhere between 300 and 600 actual cfl watts, depending on the exact plant count.

How many cfm's do I need on the fans to adequately vent the above setup? Does cfm add up if you install fans in series? Or in parallel?


How should I best arrange the fans? i.e. 1 intake 1 exhaust, 2 exhaust, 2 intake?

1 intake 1 outlet.
no point in 2. 1 fan with a higher CFM will be more efficient.

Only the volume of the room really matters.... lights etc inrrelevant.

Around 100 cfm would b more then adequate your cfm should be a min of one third your overall cf u wanna change the air once every 3 min atleast if u r not using co2 since u have such a small amount of cf any thing would probably work 100 cfm is way more then necessary
