DWC single units are easy. 5 gal bucket, lid, net pot, hydroton, air pump, nutrient solution., you put the nute solution in the bttom of the 5 gal and the roots grow into the waiter, that air pump supplies the air for the roots. Its real simple but for multiple plnats ur either ganna need boo cooo air pumps or one badass one with lots of out hoses.

how much did u say was ur ebbflow again?
FithyFletch has an exellent post on a simple dwc (6) plant 20 gallon dwc build. I think he builds them in 30 minutes and if he is not too busy right now he does build And ship them, with or without pumps. I think its like $40.00 =shipping without the pump and he recommends a 800gph pump or bigger. He makes larger ones. For ebb and flow/ flood and drain there are several units available. I built mine to fit my space and posted the build in DIY. I don't recommend building one if you can buy one to fit already made. I uh do have a question about your setup. What is it your planning? Flowering all your plants and then starting over? Or are you going to set up some kind of rotation? VV

6x4? get a 1000 is u want some bad ass results. i have a 9x5 and i have 2x600 hps. i dont grow my plants like big mike, i like gettin them real big and letting them have room to stretch and every budsite get optimum light. but neways. u can do a badass setup in a 6x4 on an ebb and flow with like a 1000. i have a ebb and flow in my flowering room, check out my gallery.
that is the setup im looking at for space, what are you yielding off the two 600,s

Well I always have opinions Some times there is room for improvement. Sometimes scientific improvment get overlooked. I do agree you could put a 1000watt light over that area even if you filled it all, or 2-600watt which would be a better idea, still not the best IMO. Research should be done into t-5's and led's. The logistic of flowering them all and starting over suck in my opinion, Maybe someone can show me a time table that makes sense this way I just don't know what it is. I actually kinda did that with my first large grow. I put 60 plants into flowering, knowing some would be males and I would get rid of those. I had plants with heights from 2' to a tied over 6' or taller. well, if you are interested, its in my journal. If you clone at the right time etc. it would be possible to feed this system with mothers, you have to have a spot for them. Lets say your plants take 4 weeks from seed to veg, ready to go in flowering and you clone them. Where are you going to put them in four weeks? This problem is addressed in a round about way in my thread. I have 21 clones that are ready to flower and no where to do so. By having crops at different maturity levels you can do it with eight weeks of flowering and its logical. VV

you have given alot of promoteing of the t5s,im curious what your gram per watt is,of your final yield, because it contradicts my findings of the t5s against an hps,and i first started with t5s last fall.

Its all in the journal, no secrets. If I knew more about the plants it would be oz/ plant. I'll be posting some update pictures. Tell me more about your experience with them?? I will be checking out led's as soon as I can as well. VV

I Have a 6X8 room and it only stands 6'3 high inside im planning on placeing 20 inside this space. im also running a 1000w full spectrum bulb with a large hood i think this would be sufficent light but im worried about my height in the room. do you think the room will be to short for this?
