Daily. I think it helps with pain, but my pain is trivial. I think it helps more with depression, but that's not a legit reason. I might be able to get a card for "pain" but I that feels like cheating the system. I think it should be legal, and I'd rather find some way I could advocate for that.
depression is a legit reason for a card. but imo you shouldnt need a card to smoke a plant.

about every 3-4 hours until the pain is gone...id say most of us here do it for pain and less for LOLZ LETZ GET HIGH
I seriously doubt that. Medicating for "stress" is still just getting high. I think a lot of people have decided that they are medicating for something when they are really just getting high. I think that the majority of people who use cannabis are using it recreationally, even if they tell themselves otherwise. Also, don't act like your more legitimate or any better than a recreationalist.

Me? I am a recreationalist. Unabashed and unashamed. There's nothing wrong with loving to get high. And don't forget who was out there fighting the good fight, getting tossed in jail for YEARS before the asshats at NORML decided to take a different approach. It was the recreationalists.

Edit: I smoke every day.

im a wee bit of both i love the high but smoke mostly for the pain. i agree most are recreational users. but some that enjoy it for recreational use also use it for pain relief. stress is not a legit reason. actual pain is however. even people that have random bouts of severe depression can use a nice sativa to bring them up a few notches so they dont kill themselves and its even a legit reason in my state.

also just to throw it out there pain can cause stress. severe pain can cause stress and severe anxiety. why not deal with all three with a toke. every 45 minutes or so i blaze a big ass bowl. not becuz i enjoy it but becuz i broke my back 7 years ago and am stuck in a chair for the rest of my life. granted the pain doesnt go 100% away but the uphoric side of it makes you forget about it for the most part which is nice. so i ask why not have it for legit reasons like stress relief. becuz even severe stress can cause sickness and pain. mental and physical. granted the enjoyable side is there so if by back wasnt hurting 24/7 id probably smoke at the min 2 times a day.

this makes an interesting point.. I use it for pain management.. however..it helps with a shit ton more then just this.. so would I still use it if it were not for the medicinal bennies?? no..

I dont get the "high" most folks get.. I dont even get the "stoner speech" it reacts differently with each one of us..

I personally think using MJ ( responsibly) solves a bunch more issues then causes..

i would get smashed a few nights a week on bowls instead of getting drunk all the time like before i got hurt. smoking pot has gotten me to stop drinking and has also gotten me unhooked from prescription drugs like Vicodin and percocets for my pain and knowing what i know now i would smoke even if not needed. im not so sure about most of you but id rather be around a chill ass predictable stoner than an unpredictable and possibly dangerous drunk.

was an all day everyday smoker for the last 3 years, was constantly nonstop stoned until I forgot what sober was like and my high mindset was my reality. I stopped altogether recently for a month and a half, now just have 2-3 bongs most nights.

so true. ill take one bong rip of my white fire in the morning and walk away i feel great and energetic not all lazy like if i took 4 or whatever. and maybe 1 at lunch and 1 or 2 late night

Morning one bowl in bong.
One joint in afternoon.
one bowl in pipe after lunch.
Pone bowl bong in evening.
A joint before dinner.
Final bowl in bong before sleep.

Thats it

Stoner speech? You mean speaking like Chong does? "Oh wow man, far out man." That stuff? If so the only one I know of who does that is Chong. Well, and high school idiots. I tell ya, Cheech and Chong did more to set back legalization and ACCEPTANCE than anything the DEA has done. Because of them, many people think that all cannabis users are like them, when most of us are not. And who has any respect for Cheech and Chong (the characters) as responsible adults?

Also, I don't believe anyone who says that MJ only takes away their pain and they don't get high.

And you know what works even BETTER than MJ for stress and depression and bi polar disorder? Exercise. It helps regulate your moods. :)

I'm at the point where I only drink at home and really only around my brother and my girl. If I think about it, almost every bad thing that has ever happened to me has had booze lurking in the background, or been directly related. I'm just into my 30's and my body is feeling like 60...

I smoke chronically and I'm not ashamed to admit that. I don't use Visine, if my eyes happen to be red at times, so what! I'll respect certain social situations where it's not really "proper" to be high or stinkin', but, you can bet I'm blazin' when I get home!

When a person is growing, one of the biggest enemies is booze. If you're drinking, STAY OUT OF THE GROWROOM! I'm sure lots of us have learned that lesson.

I always WANT to smoke, but try to regulate it in order to keep my tolerance down. I try not to smoke before or at work, and that keeps me getting high when I do smoke.

I have a hard time eating or sleeping if I'm not high unfortunately. So I don't eat breakfast till that first bowl, which doesn't happen till around 3 PM haha.

I read about this guys "4/20 rule" on a thread at some point, which always stuck with me. 20 days of smoking, 4 days with no smoke in order to keep your tolerance in check.

i used to be a bad drunk before i got hurt. i hated myself after i realized how bad i was actually getting. plus my old man is a drunk and i resent him for it now. yeah im in my late 20 still but the broken back and hardware in it on top of all the dumb shit i did as an alcoholic in my young 20s is catching up with me now regretfully.

22 years of legal narcotic-antidepresants-muscle relacexers etc.. all solved by one plant... Thank you God!

I have severe depression, I'm even going through ECT and I was able to get my card for depression alone, twice.
