How should I let my plants flower?

I live in New York, so my plants don't get a lot of light because I am growing them in a sun room. They get about 12 hours of sun, 12 hours of darkness... about. I know they need about 18 hours of sun, then when they flower, you switch to 12 hours of sun. I have 12 hours of sun now, so what do I do. The plants are over a foot tall, and I want them to flower. Do I give them less light, and then they will flower? Do I buy a growing light, bring them up to 18h for a month, then 12h? What do I do? Here they are.

they should flower automatically at 12/12 when they are ready. Future patio grows you should try training them with tie downs easy peasy. this is just my opinion not fact.

Those are stretched as fuck. Should buy some lights. They will flower soon because they are not really mature due to their poor growth.

When your nodes start alternating, instead of being straight across from each other like they are, this shows "maturity" and means they will show their sex....then they will start flowering...and yours are just babies..and you need to get your lights closer w/o burning them so the node spacing will be closer together....good luck

If i was u i would get a light and put them on 24 hours of light and then top them or fim them to get them to bush out a little maybe even put a fan on them to get the stems to fatten up a little bit, grow to 24 inches then flower 12/12 it has to be 12 hours of total darkness no light at all none

I'd be separating the two. They need a whole lot more light and a fan to strengthen up those stems. Some nutes wouldn't hurt either. No sense in putting them in flower now you won't get much bud the way they look now. Under proper conditions they could bounce right back and in a few weeks you could think about switching to flower. Good luck.
