How tight to pack extractor tubes?

I'm getting ready to run about 2p's of popcorn and trim.. No close loop yet, just hand tubes.. Usually I pack them extremely tight, because I am trying to use minimum cans of tane. But this run I got plenty of tane, plenty of time and not in a rush like usually.. So should I still pack the shit out of them or pack them loosely..

This probably a dumb question for someone that has been making BHO as long as I have been.. But I always have pack the shit out of them..

I always find that i get more by SLOWLY grinding to tiny nugs not dust, then pack it good. Not too loose that the weed immediately shots down the extractor with pressure and not too tight to where you waste a whole can of tane before the weed slides down the extractor. I used to laugh all the time at a friend who takes half an hour to grind an ounce. I then learned that continuous friction from a grinder and especially my favorite the electric grinder will eat away enough reson from an ounce to be noticeable.

I use a food processor. No loss at all.

Besides the possibility of trichome loss. And the friction/heat produced killing a fresh frozen run. The more cuts in the plant the lower the quality.
And weve done side by side comparisons, same material. It increases polar crap and wax/fats, reduces overall terp content.

Ive got the same problem only my tube is probably what needs an upgrade anyways. Im not invested in pounds yet either.
