Was smokin with some friends the other day and there was this chick who was new to weed I think and she was drunk as well, the pipe came her way and she would hit it, talk, talk, talk hit it and then pass it, unfortunately I was in line after her. This is considered extremely shabby among most stoners. This can be a bit of a gray area though, different people say yeah take a couple tokes and pass it on, others say one toke and pass it on but always remember DON'T HOLD ONTO THE SMOKE AND LEAVE PEOPLE WAITING! The passing of the pipe or joint or whatever has an almost spiritual vibe to it and if you break the rythm of the ritual it's bad Karma!

I'm amazed at people who tell other's how to smoke...Grow yes....Smoke????? Some take a few little puffs.....some huge big one's. It's like me I have COPD so I take a few little ones....a well rolled joint will burn accordinly...If some guy said to me..." toke and pass man" he'd have 250lbs of crazy guebecer standing his chest........

In oregon I pay 40 for a dank eighth 80 for a quarter of dank etc etc 20/40/80 etc. dont buy it if its brown unless its hash muahaa. and remember there is a difference between sticky icky and wet. some people around my area try and pass off premature wet bud they have also tried to sell seedy bud. fk that is what i say

haha psilomind I agree I hate getting the bong with someones old ass smoke in it. If you cant clear it all for some reason atleast blow on the female piece so its not in there anymore.

also about girls in circles. I think alot of girls fuck up the circle because alot of girls cant smoke as much as me and my friends so they end up tipping shit over or w/e basically being a dumb girl ya know, so I put my couch by my table and the girls will start there little estrogen circles there while we smoke at the table and im not saying girls cant smoke because there are alotta girls that can hit the bong like a champ and some do.

ah, i remember when i first fell in love with weed. i was arund 13-14 years old and i havent put it down since. im glad your asking questions because alot of ppl swear up and down that that know all there is to kno about bud when they start, and most of them don't know anything at all. so you have my respect on that one youngin'. well first off befor you can grow you gotta learn what weed is why you get high when u smoke it and the anatomy of the plant. everyone should kno that weither you grow or not because if you don't kno the basics your not smoking to be smoking your smoking cuz its a fad or wtvr and thats just wrong. so look through the threads or search online and find out about the plant first. next, when it comes to buying weed the bigger the better. because you wouldt have a scale in your pocket when you cop some trees, you should eye ball it. weither its a dime bag or a ounce it should never be flat. the bag should be kinda robust. and NEVER and I MEAN NEVER buy a bag thats all ready been broken up. some ppl think that this is good but, the dealer istrying to make it look like there is a lot of bud in there by breaking it up so basicly he is givin u less weed then what your paying for. next don't be afraid to open the bag and smell it. you wont be able to really tell how dank but is by smelling it through the bag, you gotta open it up and smell it. if it smells strong then get it if not ask for another bag or say no thanks. remember you can't really offend a dealer cuz your the customer and speaking from an ex drug dealer, i would never threaten a customer cuz you want them to come back.now, after you learn how to cop you gotta learn how to roll. its important you learn how to roll because if your going to be a real true blue smoker then there are going to be times where your smoking by yourself and you don't have anybody to roll it for you ( i learned that the hard way). get somebody to teach you, there are so makny diffrient ways and styles of rolling and remember roll with confidence, because if not your blunt is going to be shitty every time. now when it comes to smoking with other ppl there are diffrient rules to fallow like the legenary puff puff pass rule, that means hit the blunt twice and pass it, and you always pass it to the left. i dont know that it but thats the rule.and normally the one who rolls the blunt is the one who hits first unless there was somebody who payed more for the bud then that person hits first then the one that rolled hits second.and when it comes to smoking someone elses blunt its customary to give the person witht he bud 5 dollars. everyone hates a scavenger smoker and you don't want to be labeld as one so whenever your about so moke somebodies blunt give them 5 dollars because your smoking half their blunt. another common curtasy when smoking with other ppl is how they act while high, if everybody is chillin, quiet and laid back dont be silly, loud and annoying. alot of smokers hate this alot because some ppl get aggitated, paranoied or aggressive when high and if your jerking around making loud noises then there will be a problem. so basicly thats it know your stuff be curtious have fun. and once you've done all of that THEN YOU CAN GROW!!!. lol if u need any more info you can pm me

Learn the differences between bowl,bong,pipe,spoon,steamroller etc. One time I asked this girl to hand me the bowl from the bong since it was by her feet (3 foot glass bong 25lbs without water) she picked up the whole bong with one hand tried to hand it to me over the table and hit the base of it on the end of the table... ouch leaks now from the bottom.

Thanks to everyone who has answered, I appreciate being part of a community who knows the value of marijuana. I am a Practicing Clinical Herbalist and fairly new to the idea that toking is slowly being accepted.
As a lifelong student I really enjoy studying the little "rituals" that people have with smoking. some people put on certain music, or have names for their pipes. I love that stuff, everyone has their own style and approach. Different locales use different names for things. Like in Mass. smoking up your car is fishbowling, but I have friends who call it hotboxing. I am so glad I found this site, thanks for the welcomes.
