There might be a delay from the time you register as a new user and get all the functions? Some forum servers have this feature built in for spamming protection. Just a thought.

I've got the same phone, but, after switching from the mobile version, it works just like the regular site. Although I haven't tried super advanced stuff, it's much more functional than the mobile version and the SII has plenty of guts enough for the full web version. (By the way, you can make the change at the bottom of the mobile version (and this version, frankly: bottom, left side.)
