how to give rep

i have read threads that say to give rep you go in the top right hand corner of the post and there should be scales of some sort there however i cant seem to find this and i aint baked wtf. how do you check your rep aswell

if you look at someone's post, in the lower left is a star,click on it. the green bars under your name determine rep.

i see no star on your post there just an exclamation mark

thats cause its not the exclamation mark its the parenthesis and the plus sign for +rep("+)

You have a star on my screen. I think that when you remain in a thread and view the new posts (rather than reloading the page), the new posts, which includes your own, don't show the star until you reload. I've tried to rep good answers before, and had to reload the page because the star didn't appear at first. That's my hunch, at least.

Some operating systems lack functionality. My Android Gallaxy2 sucks for posting on this forum. I have to use my desktop computer to get some of the features not on the portable device.
