How to grow auto`s ?

looking at this short rider auto flower.
description says it will grow regardless of light cycle

just wondering as it will be my first grow..
what exactly do i need to do regarding light and feeding ?

autos require 18/hrs light per day thats it all the way through no changing light cycles IE autos how u growing soil or hydro

soil. think im going to do way more researching before starting my first grow. just need to get my set up then find and good first seed.
not on a big budget so trying to find the products i need at a more cheaper price.
