Hello folks, I'm new to the forums so first off I will explain my situation. I usually get clones for free from a friend( I have bad anxiety & would rather not use governmental juiced up medications that just make it worse
) and he always offers me medical strains to help. I have 3 of them & 2 are doing extremely well, one is slacking at the moment but should take off in another week or so.
My main question is how can I properly clone these plants? I have done some research and to my knowledge this is how it is done, please do correct me if I am incorrect
My plants are roughly 1.5ft - 1ft 10in , I would cut a stem at 45 degree angle(roughly) with roughly 2 leaf high on the stem, immediately putting my cuttings into a water glass to stop air from entering the stem etc. Now this is where things get dusty for me, after I have my cuttings would I plant them in a fine potting soil? or a coarse sand mixture? & roughly how deep into this mixture? 1.5" to 2"?
I would like to have this done as easily as possible because I would like to give a few plants to friends and family so that all they have to do is plant and water etc to make it simpler for them.
As for additional information that may help, I use miracle grow for tomatoes to provide nutrient( 500ml every sunday into the soil & a light spray on the leaves every morning at sunrise.
Any help is appreciated
Many thanks!
