Two reasons...super low humidity (intentional..experiment) and when I installed the light mover it slipped dowm to 6 inches over the plant and the uv I believe burnt the crap out of them...reason I state this is one day I performed a test...I put the hps bulb in and lowered it to 6 inches above them and no burn even though the hps is more lumens??? HPS = 0 uv CMH = Good uv...hence too close and the uv burned them is my deduction...as the cmh is not as hot as the hps either so it wasn't heat....

Since this thread is supposed to be us sharing how we read plants I am going to share what I have found to help determine proper amounts on N.... old leaves nice color green with no burning tips..... Actually if you watch the newer leaves they will become darker green indicating too much N before any tips burn...remedy by flushing and after the flush feed just a lil lighter on the N.. My tips are burnt and my newer leaves are super green from a lil too much N trying to stop a lil yellowing...
Also low humidity makes them a bit less ppm or ec or salinity tolerant and what usually they do fine with you must lower a tad....

I think I may have missed this one? upcanning right before flipping is a big mistake and a waste of soil, root production slows in flower as the plant switches gears to start making buds. this is why it is important to build a solid root structure during veg

yes me too UB...thats where I learned it from..you...lol...was just saying I went a lil heavy and was a lil too dark green with burnt tips so I backed off a little is all...just trying to explain that if you notice that your leaves are a darker or deeper green than usual you can back off on the n a bit and avoid the burnt leaf tips.... I follow the mantra I learned early on from you...Keep 'em Green... till the end...and I do not ever remove leaves ...another one I learned from you....Thanx UB....and as always your plant is gorgeous...while I have you attention...u know where one may acquire some true c99 seed?

i have never made it rain as hard as these guys do i would say the most i ever flushed with was 4 gallon maybe five. i hear ya!ive got a doz. Rt. Now. I have to do them 2@ a time to contain rain runoff! Im n a shed & use 15gal. Tubs to catch it.

i completely agree,if i find a leave or leaves that look unhealthy,its usally a pest problem,always look at the underside of the leaves,b.t. will take care of most pest problems,,if a plant looks healthy,that means it is healthy,some simple but very good info,got your back riddelme!
