How would you control guns?

How should we regulate guns?

pretty easily.

the background check worked very well, it deterred the murderer from gaining access to guns.
Murderers generally don't go to the store, buy a gun under their name, then kill someone with it. The batman shooter did, but unlikely. Besides, you can just buy them off the street, steal them, or create some other death device, such as the bombs he planted.

if people were subject to harsh penalties for not securely locking up their guns around mentally ill people, i bet more people would lock them up securely. lots of people follow the law just for the sake of following the law.
Agreed, I think there should be punishment for a case by case basis when you are negligent with firearms. I just don't think imposing more regulations on the entire population is sensible. Harsher punishment isn't gun regulation, though.

This is all I can find about whether the Lanza guns were secured. Maybe they were, maybe not.

"Friend, classmate describe family A friend of Nancy Lanza, who had done contracting work for her, was last in the home eight months ago and remembers seeing a lock box in the basement where Lanza kept her guns."

Irrelevant really, we cannot practically enforce gun security to prevent these incidents anyways.

LOL! doing my work for me i guess. thanks. lanza tried to as well. he was deterred by our common sense gun laws (background checks).

Besides, you can just buy them off the street, steal them
a recluse like lanza would have had a hard time finding someone to buy them off the street. a properly secured gun safe would have done the trick.

people blow themselves up often enough trying to build bombs.

yes it is.

all the people with CCW in tucson did nothing to stop loughner, he was only stopped when he went to change his 30 round mag.

a 10 round mag would have saved many lives in tucson that day. more guns didn't. FACT.

a secure gun safe. lanza went out to buy his own guns beforehand but didn't because he didn't want to do a background check. his mother left her guns nice and unsecured though.
I recall one person being armed at the Tucson massacre. He was in a store nearby when the shooting started. He came out of the store to see what he could do to help. That armed citizen did not shoot anybody because he did not know who to shoot, i.e. he acted responsibly, unfucking believable, right? He should have just pulled out his assault weapon and started bustin' caps in every ass he saw, amiright?

yes we can, and we have.

let me boil your argument down for you: nothing will ever be 100% effective, so lets' do nothing at all.

one starred.
Oh, how cute. Regurgitating Biden talking points. Do you have a big toothy smile, and a nervous twitch too?

the lying, smoldering piece of shit here is the guy who tried to call california a gun free zone and who cites "studies" that i could debunk of the top off my head by saying "luby's massacre".

shut the fuck up already.

Nor did they hurt. Would you like a napkin to wipe that Obiden cum off your chin, leach?
you know what did hurt though?

high capacity magazines.

anyone who opposes the 10 round mag limit has blood on their hands from that one. loughner was only stopped when he went to load another 33 rounds into his gun. more guns did not help.

You are clearly clueless about the Luby's cafe shooting. I prefer the testimony of Suzanna Gratia Hupp regarding the Luby's cafe massacre. She was there. Her mother and father were both murdered that day. Watch it for your self, you might learn something:

Deterred? He killed a bunch of people.................................

How do you enforce people locking their guns up? You still haven't answered any of the questions on how to regulate.

people blow themselves up often enough trying to build bombs.
Sounds safe enough to depend on. Maybe more suicide bombers would be better than people with guns?

yes it is.

No, its punishment after the crime. Regulations prevent things from happening. Maybe I should specify preventative regulations. Im not sure of the exact terminology. amiright?

Saying something is FACT... does not make it a FACT. Please provide PROOF.
