Now those are some nice photos!

Look at all those dancing ladies! Very good job.

I use Canon, but I have been eyeballing the Olympus pen for fun. I think it would be a great entry camera or a second camera to take on the crazy shoots.

I also second Photoshop. I have been a PS user for many years and it is a must have program.

I also would like to recomend a book: Scott Kelby - Digital Photography Book Vol 2

Vol.3 is ok, but Vol.2 is much better.

This is where I think it started. LOL

An opinion or yours, but said in a somewhat cocky manner. Could have been voiced more positively. eg: You should probably size your pictures down a bit so that we don't have to scroll over to see them. Good pic though!

And this was just a negative comment that did not need to be said. Which is what started all the negativity.

You may not have been trying to come off as negative or cocky, but you did unfortunately . Perhaps reading your own words over twice before posting them, and then considering how others may read and then perceive your tone (hard to perceive when it's typing) and what you meant to say.

By the way I agree, large pictures are somewhat annoying and hard to look at. But I would have tried to voice my opinion in the most polite way, in order to not offend a fellow poster.

Also, Nice pic by the way ENDLSCYCLE! They're looking good.
Funny coming from you.

I made a "negative" comment about a week ago in your post and you called me every name in the book, PM'ed me with nasty comments and followed me through a few threads calling me names.

And now you come to this thread and try to bring up more negativity by bringing up a topic that we all already made it past.

Don't you have anything useful to do beside follow me around like a heartbroken groupie?

Make it easy on yourself and take pics when the lights are off. You're not going to disturb your ladies at all.

You know I was thinking a little bit about nature....comparing the flash of the camera to lightning or IDK... headlights from a passing car or some shit...would it really hurt em for a couple pics???? I can honestly say my grows run uninterrupted darkness...Period.....the earliest I will open my tent is 10 min. early and I'm not home when they shut off so they aren't ever left with the tent open lights off...IDK...just thinking.

I would recommend not taking photos in the dark with a flash.

Not for growing reasons, but for photographic reasons.

Your photos are looking great ENDLCYCLE, even with your "low end" camera. You are already taking better photos than most people on the site as it is now. ;)

Here are some examples from my camera, I admit it's a Digital SLR but I'm sure you'll get the same results with your photo's. In Lightroom I just do click auto white balance and they look like those.

I took your photo and played in PS a little (I could do a lot better job if I had the RAW file).

I tweaked the settings a little bit to have different effects.

I do recommend you post an unedited raw file when you want to diagnose a problem, but if you are just showing off your ladies, a little PS tweaking never hurt anyone.

This first one I made to mimic the "shot in the dark" technique. No loss of quality. Notice no blur?

This one is a bit more "natural".

And just for fun...

Your flash will not disturb your plants in the least bit. The moon light can be bright enough to see by and head lights certainly don't disturb the plants either. If you want to show off how good your ladies look, taking pics while the lights are on is like taking pics at high noon, which photographers don't do. Take 'em at night, you'll be fine as long as you're not using a cell phone camera.

I would think that you would still need a small light just so you can focus the pics. The auto focus light on my cam isnt as strong as it should be.
