Humidifier Needed ?

I have a RH of 10% 1 week after popping seeds, slightly concerned and looking at cheap humidifiers , im based in the uk and im hoping some of you are too and can advise me on whats a good one to try ?

I got this one on Amazon that I'm pretty happy with. I'm in a small tent so it works well enough in my environment but I don't know how much square footage you're dealing with.

The only thing I don't like is there is a small green LED on the inside of the unit. I need to find a way to block it before flower.

You're in the UK, so there are different offerings there I imagine.
 
looks like the sort of thing i need to be honest ! also , just use some tape to cover the led, or poke it inside the unit itself ?

Just a hint, you can use with sucess IMO, double sticky tape, also used when laying down carpet, to make many different kinds of coverings with eg. plastic from eg. shopping bags, to hide any light buttons etc on your equipment, and many many other purposes...
 
i bought the cheap small black one at walmart for $25, it gave me 10-12% increase in RH, it worked for my space, cause my numbers werent as low as yours are.

my buddy has a $200 humidifier and that thing is a beast, he just sets it on whatever rh he wants and it just does its thing. He also has insanely low rh in his area and needed it badly.

the cheapos arent gonna give you a big increase but they do the trick for the 10-15% increase i needed.
 
cheers guys my grow room is not huge prob 1sqm , im hoping this will do the trick, or at least give me a nice little boost ! 10% is way too low.

Most soils have enough nutes in them to carry a young plant 3-4 weeks before they need to be fed nutes

My ffof carried my plants 40+ days before they needed anything other than water
 
ok so its arrived and im already up to 49% rh , shall increase to 60 % then reduce a little each week, sweet piece of kit too !
