It was an obvious psy ops and the FBI said so. I understand that MAGA can't accept this, because, well, just look at what else they can't accept:

Trump was the worst president since Herbert Hoover
Accepted aid and support from Putin to help him win the election
Obstructed the investigation into Putin's collusion with the Trump campaign to help him win the election.
Over a million dead at Trump's hand due to his mishandling of the Covid epidemic
Trade wars caused manufacturing to go into recession BEFORE the epidemic (can't blame it on China)
Normalized white supremacy in the US.
Used Portland Oregon as a training ground for his paramilitary.
Lost the election in 2020
Attempted election fraud but got caught when the Georgia Governor had a phone from Trump call recorded.
Lost control of Congress in 2018
Conspired to disenfranchise 80 million voters after he lost the election in 2020
Told his paramilitary to Stand By during the debates
Told his paramilitary to attack Congress on Jan 6, 2021
Stole top secret documents from the government when he left the White House
Lied to NARA when they asked for the documents back (what documents?) and obstructed the retrieval of the documents he stole from the government.


So, it's completely understandable why MAGA disbelieve the FBI when they say that laptop is an obvious Russian psy ops plant. If they can choke down all of the above, they can certainly choke down that last little bit.

It's also completely understandable why the mainstream public aren't listening to people who claim Hunter Biden's laptop is causing the sky to fall. We don't live in a fake news universe and don't accept what MAGA say without checking the facts gathered by facts based news sites. Because invariably the story turns to be false or find there is no evidence to give the story credence.

One would assume that the first step would be formatting the drive and selling the laptop. But a maga cant resist when he has his hands on a Biden laptop or diary.
Where's the part where he signed to allow the release of the contents of the laptop to the media, Rudy, and whoever else?

Oh, didn't you know? Of the tens of thousands of files on that laptop, about 2,000 files on Hunter Biden's laptop are in fact Hunter's. So that makes them ALL Hunter's. Or so the Russian psy ops story goes.

AND, Giuliani did in fact have a press conference at Four Seasons. And, there is no reason to suspect Russian collusion when Trump's campaign had thousands of communications with Russian agents during the campaign. And Trump actually won.

Read the story, not the headline. "Deeply suspicious" is exactly how they put it and they consisted of 50 former intel officers including those from the Trump administration.
