Hydra's "Perpetual" grow: Preparing for the Med-Pocalypse!!!!

"Perpetual" medical grow,

Gear:
-76x76x76 grow tent
-1000w HPS Digilux
-Botanicare brick Coco/hydroton (80/20)
-Botanicare CNS-17 Nutes
-450cfm vent fan


Current Strains:
-Serious seeds- AK-47
-Reserva Privada- Kosker Kush AND OGKush
-Super HAze






I am fairly new to growing, with only one year(4 harvests) under my belt. I LOVE growing and am very eager to learn so
any and ALL help and suggestions ALWAYS welcome. I might have to give up growing in a year when the 25 mile rule bans home medical growers in favor of dispensary only MMJ system.
I am just trying to horde away as much meds as possible for the Coming MED-Pocalypse.

So here it goes, my race to fill as many jars as i can for the incoming MED-POCALYPSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a new 400w light today for only 80 bucks! basically brand new http://www.midwesthydroponics.com/lighting/cropmaster-complete/400-watt-hps/400-watt-hps-crop-master-ballast-with-blazer-6-reflector.html
Only used for maybe 3 days. Switchable ballast, spo ill soon have a new Veg tent to add..... Now i can find a good AK-47 mother, and start my search for a Cherry Ak keeper pheno!!!!

Well now that its lights on... i have found a nice fat banana.... RIGHT by the fan So i might be starting over from scratch. It was on one of the clawed Koshers, im hoping it was because of that, and not some light leak im not aware of.

Im sad Disheartened, crestfallen, and all the other emo sad words in the thesaurus Ill be very upset if all 16 plants have been pollinated.......
Id show you pictures, but i sprayed them down, and then took them out back and tossed the banana plant and the other clawed one next to it.

Its been a roller coaster day, here in my desert fortress...... new light was so awesome, but then the banana killed the fun times

CAN i please see a picture of your banana. I complelety understand the devistating feelings you must be feeling if by chance your garden has been pollenated . I have had a couple breakdowns myself over the same event unfolding in my tents.
I have the same dual diaphram as you and fuckin LOVE IT! dude look at all the lime build up on it from your AZ water !! hahahahaha. your not R/O your water then?
HOw do you like your Humididty level at? YOur girls look really really healthy.
I ment to tell you that that while little container in my jouirnal you asked about.. that is plastic container that 10 ml saline syringes come in. I can get them at my job, they are very handy.
Try to cheer up a bit and just give me a Philadelphia cheesesteak and call it even.

There is the whole kit, form the site the guy ordered it from. Just setting it up now, and will be popping akk my AK's and starting my VERY FIRST every search for a keeper mother. (Fingiies are crosses for a cherry Pheno)

Here is my new 400 watt plant light , all set up and running. I have the ducting all set up and have been running the light since 3pm. All is well, no pops, crackles, or explosions, When i bought it the guy swore it was a Mh, but its for sure HPS> VERY orange light..... Oh well, ordered new bulb tonight so its incoming


Here is Mr pony, he is the grave shift yard sentinel that guards my plants when the dog sleeps.

Im fairly sure that the Kosher kush that was closest to the herm'd plant, ALL the hair the where white a few days ago are all brown and rust colored. I have read that is a tell tale sign of seeding
Ill let them go a bit for science purposes.

What you guys think?

I am considering ordering some seeds form VaderOG, some Merlot OG and Alien Abduction. I like his videos, and they seem like good strains. Anyone every heard of.tried them?

Here is one of my pesky Ak-47's.... im 99% sure its a male, I have never seen a full male before(i SAID i was a Newb) But this plant looks unlike anything have every seen so im gonna venture its a dude and put it out to pasture.

exellent updates and documentation Hydra.
I have experience with males and detecting them. From the photos you presented of your AK-47 male..... To me it looks like it hermied on you.
Most of my males do not have as many pistils formed as that particular one does. But i can see those bananas and some pollen sacs, So yeah its a dude.

Cool video! and i dig your little mascot ontop of your tent. looks like you have some nice fat colas forming as well. Keep up the awesome work.

hey man whats up, had a tip for you that GROW TENTS are not 100 percent light proof, so its not so good to have the veg room right next to it. You need more light in that size flowering room. I also wanted to know, are you pulling air from your flower tent through your veg light ? why ? if you are doing doing that its possible that light then can travel back up the ducting.

The reason its like that is i was gifted some VERY rare strains and had just bought a 400 w light. I wanted to veg out these new strains asap, and only had ONE fan and ONE tent full of flowers. So i cleaned out a closet next to the tent, and put the 400w in there with the ONE fan pulling air form teh tent's 1000w about 10 foot of duct, then through the 400 watt and out into the attic.
I KNoW its VERY far from ideal, but its the best i have until i can get down to the Hydro store and get a new tent and fan.

Im also having an EPIC fly infestation..... nice big house flies. everywhere. I have sprayed and they seem to be going away, but slowly. Im taking the LOOOOOOOOONG route to learning how to grow, making each mistake myself>.<

Ok so 12 days after my last post of pics i have had ALOT of new growth!!!! I have been working extra hours and been quite busy.

Im thinking that my super haze will be amazing this time, its PACKED with trichs at only 5 weeks.
The Kosher kush is starting to recover from the nitrogen poisoning i gave it its looking like it might end up "ok". I am super happy about how well the 12/12 Ak-47 and Og kush are doing, they are now the largest plants in the tent, and its looking like the ak will give some heavy buds

I just picked up some Blue cheese and blue dream clones(thought the BD was cut from a flowering plant, thus will take FOREVER to get back to vegging>.<) I had to take what i could get, Tucson has shit for clones and most of the people here are fucking lunatic kookoo birds and i stay FAR away from them. Thus finding good genetics is next to impossible, i really need a trip to phx haha, hopefully soon.
My AK-47 seedlings are looking good so far, I am hoping to get a good strong mother plant to be able to grow some nice AK(and hopefully get a cherry pheno)

The Vegging "area" NOW with 100% LESS flies!!!!!! Most of them withstood the trampling of flies fairly well, but they do show signs of badness..... i see evidence of perhaps flies eating some of the plant tissue???? does that happen? Im hoping they will be ok>.<
