Hydroton, Baking to Sterilize?

Have you ever baked your Hydroton to sterilize it?

Also, unless you are using something like Dutch Buckets, where the roots aren't always submerged, then the trichoderma has a very short effective period in hydro.
Normally in soil it's only like 12 weeks, but in hydro I would assume it is much less.
I haven't done much research on the topic.

The only thing in that product that is useful to you is the trichoderma.

Unless you also have soil grows as well.
The other bacteria are useless in hydro or media.

They aren't saying how much is in there either...
To be honest companies that sell isolated trichoderma usually only have a concentration of like 1% to 2%.

It may be cheaper for you to get an isolated culture and grow it yourself.

Just saying.
They have the cfu's listed and saying that the other microbes are useless in hydro is absurd.

Just sayin.

I just trying to help.

If you look up the bacteria listed in the Raw Microbes Bloom they are perfect for soil, but they will not do anything for you in hydro...

It's the trichoderma in the product that you are benefiting from.
