how does the tax payer pay my medical bills if I am dead? I want the option to wear a helmet, I don't have a lot of brains to protect!

Helmets reduce your range of vision, block your hearing and overheat your head, all of which makes you less in control of your riding.

If you are not wearing a helmet and crash you are more likely to sustain brain injury leading to prolonged hospital stay and if your uninsured the tax payers will be footing the bill for your treatment. If you are killed and have a wife or kids their is a good chance if something happens to you they will have to go on public assistance furthering the burden on society.

This is why they make mirrors and why the helmet laws make allowances for open face helmets or, skull caps.

Helmet law would are the beginning of endless government meddling. Next would be a law requiring full-face helmets; then a law requiring neck braces; then one for spinal armor to prevent broken backs. Then it would be illegal to wear shorts or any clothing which didn't meet some government standard or other …

skull caps are not dot approved and illegal. and without full range of vision blind spots are a hazzard.

Without helmet laws revenue would fall during bike shows and rallies because of a decrease in ticketabe offenses making staging these events less attractive to the communities that host them.

Don't you want to save lives? What about the orphans left from motorcycle accidents. If the govt can make our lives safer shouldn't they? isn't that what their their for? Without government regulation you could be driving in an unsafe vehicle without seat belts or airbags and on faulty tires on a road with no guard rails or center divider. We need the government to tell us what is safe and what is unsafe. People used to thing Drinking at a bar with smokers was safe, now thanks to the government regulations we know better.

Helmets do not stop accidents from occurring. Motorcyclists are the most skilled and attentive operators on the road. Bikers should not have to suffer a helmet because of the inattentive driving of passenger vehicles.

In order to reap the benefits of a helmet, you must wear a full face helmet. Proven . So a skull cap still doesn't cut it.

I can't stand helmet laws anyways you should be able to do what you want. Anyone else with a topic?
And as for male herm to female, They can but it's rare and really doesn't matter because most of us eliminate males. That can be a sign of a male with potent genetics though.
