Hey my fellow growers !
I recently got my seeds to germinated and the sprouted ,
I potted them in smalls cups but I only have like a dash of water and sprayed them with a water sprayer lightly , it's been close to 3 days and know sign of them coming out green yet , they are 70cm under a mars hydro 300w for 20hrs their auto ogs..
Should I be giving more water than this ?
I have heard mixed things

seedling need water, but not very much. i have a set of graduated beakers, i'll give them 10ml a day around the base of the plant for a week, then go to 20. after a week of 20, they ought to be ready for regular watering, just don't go crazy. it's a lot easier to add more than it is to take out extra

Thanks guys thanks for replying appreciate it ,
So even though I didn't give a proper Saturday of the bagged soil prior to putting the germinated seed it should be fine ?

I always make sure the soil is nice an damp before planting an then let it ride for a bit.

I'm starting a bunch of seeds in little 3" square pots and I'll soak the whole lot then I shouldn't have to water them for while. Nice loose ProMix HP half and half with ProMix Veg&Herb so they won't need feeding for a while either. I have some of the mix screened thru a 1mm mesh and will scoop a spoonful out of each pot to replace with the screened mix so the seeds are nestled in a pocket of finer material for sprouting after scarifying in a pill jar lined with 150grit sandpaper.

18 fit perfect in one of those seed starter greenhouse trays but I'll be using a clear lid on the bottom with one on the top to keep the moisture in until they sprout. A piece of plywood with small handles on each end to keep the bottom flat and make it easy to move around. When they need water I'll just move one pot out of the way and pour in a load of water and let them suck it up. Easy-peasy.

My biggest problem is deciding what 18 seeds get to go in the first run. Mainly growing for breeding some regular strains with my Otto#1 female to get some CBD versions of them. Couple of other strains I haven't grown yet as well. Most of the plants will live their whole lives in those pots and be flowered at 4 or 5 nodes just to get decent males for breeding with.

^ so I'm guessing they're in soil? sounds too dry, I would wet them well asap. I don't start my seeds in soil but I would have moistened the soil well before I put them in

When they come up you can start thinking about moderating your water but keep it moist until they sprout, not drowning but wet, because if they have dried out they might not make it ?
