6.3 to 6.8Whats your pH running?
It's in soil. I don't have a way to test the medium yet. This is my first grow (still not fully prepared yet). What's the best way to test soil ph?Are you in soil or soiless mix? Can you test the medium for pH? I have had times feeding at 6.5 strictly where the medium ended up really low (like in the 4's) and I had to compensate with higher pH feedings to get things back inline.
The times I have seen that stripey pattern it's always been a pH that was way off. May also wanna check your meter and make sure it's properly calibrated.
naw, insects don't eat in such patterns.Pretty sure that is insect damage . . .
Look real close at the leaves. they are detereriating in the same spot before the holes form.Pretty sure that is insect damage . . .
After a second look, you are probably right. I have had catapiller and Japanese beetle damage that looked similar.Look real close at the leaves. they are detereriating in the same spot before the holes form.
I appreciate the help Renfro. I'm defiantly going to look into the ph situationI'd bet $20 that the soil pH is way off.
That's a possibility. I'm just being extra cautious. It's a couple weeks from being done.If it's not spreading and not on new growth perhaps you had a bad feed pH and it's now resolved?
it is an old bottom leaf lol. What am I looking for under the magnifying glass? That looks like an old bottom leaf. Chop it off and take a close look at the underpart with a magnifying glass. Make sure no other leaves have this problem. Look every day to see if it returns on other parts. Don't sweat it
What's the best way to fix ph in soil if it is off? When I have had this happen with pH being off it seems to go for older growth.
