Ive been around animals since a child. From cattle to horses, cats, birds, dogs, goats and pigs. I've cut the horns and balls off feeder steers. I've clipped the tusk off piglets. I've bottle fed a calf.

I know you love your animals. You can tell. But know they're only faithful to the next meal. No matter how cuddly. I didn't make the rules.

Those cats will be fine and they'll have a long life by your hands. You'll fulfill one of the purposes of having a soul. Compassion. Something a cat doesn't have because its a predator.

It's pretty neat how so many people want their animal to have a soul. Nothing wrong with that. But discounting yourself being a higher being. A being that's self aware. Comparing your reality to soulless beast that's not...

Hey, I get it. My only advise is to keep feeding your critters. If you stop. They're not going 'mourn' walking away from you.

It's also cute about how people feel about predators. If your house cat was 30 pounds heavier. Much bigger then a Bobcat. It'd try to eat you. But since it's small. It has to put up with your hugs and snuggles. It's there for the food. But if you believe it has a soul. You probably think a cockroach does too. Botfly larvae, ants, grass, trees...

Here's a question. Having a soul and knowing what it involves. Would you really want your cat having one?
 
Some of us believe everything has a soul, or is one soul.

Everything mentioned above, humans are predators, humans bite the hands that feed.

But at the end of the day, I like everyone else knows nothing

from my end they sure do...just last week a local farmer had to shoot a young cow it cut its throat bad on some tin in the barn the mother still bleets to this day (I got most of her in my freezer cost a gram of ice cream seeds) so I've asked buddies to drop the trim any trim to the mom, if she don't turn around I'll be buying another freezer
