I'm in my thirties now but I moved out when I was 18. Not because of problems etc, always been close with my family, just that I needed my space/independence.

Economy doesn't help, seen the figures, heaps of people moving back into their parents/family home because of finances etc, fair enough I reckon. Living 'at home' has its perks if you're a lazy bastard like me, am damn tempted to, lol.

So I don't have the gorgeous wife, the lovely house, the comfortable bank balance. So what if I don't make good wages, or any wages at all. So what if my house is a mess. So what if I spend so much time on the computer and watching TV. So what if I don't have the super fit body like the suburban joggers.

Indeed, I used to feel low about myself, I used to feel like a waster. To watch people you've grown up with live a normal and productive life, while I struggled to do so for many reasons. Mainly fate.

No longer though, I'm quite happy to keep my head down, to float stoned down the river of life like an early morning fog.

I'm peaceful and happy. Those who live the 'normal' life - none of them are peaceful and happy, despite all they have.

Sometimes not getting what you want is a remarkable bit of luck.
 
Im 50 and i bought my dads house and he lives with me.Mom had stroke and is a home.I dont judge ppl buy where they live, cause you never know what caused them to be in the situation.Economy sucks now my bus.is off over 50perc.As long as they are trying to better themself and not just not being a sponge i see no problem with it.My son could come home anytime,But he knows how i feel about it!Dont think he would like the chores id put him through,and his ass would be trying to become a productive person.
 
Will make this point don't know if any one els said but living withyour mum and dad you can't have noisy sex unles they are deaf?
