I Love Lamp...

I just raised the HPS lamp to water my babies and was able to take this nice photo. HPS ROCKS over CFL's! I guess you already knew that!!!!!

Welcome to the wonderful world of HPS lighting passiton. Now you will see why we say that CFL's are only playing at growing, if you want good weed you need HPS for flowering. It's just so much better.By the way that isn't a low pressure sodium lamp.

Cheers jimmyspaz! To read about the wonders of HPS is one thing, but to actually see the difference between CFL and HPS is another. The difference is shocking. The light seems to penetrate the foliage so much more. It looks more natural too- the colour of the light, I mean. So you think it's not low pressure then? I wasn't sure. How can you be sure it's HPS jimmy? Is there a way to tell? Thanks mate.

The colour of the light and the typical lines in the pics are exactly like what my pics under HPS look like. I reckon that you have HPS there as well. Low pressure sodium lights have a much more narrow spectrum and would look different.
