I need advice from a pro.

one of my room mates likes to shut the ac off during the day to try n save electricity for at least 5 hours a day.if i ran the ac unit to my tent i would have to work around the ac being off a number of hours

Your roommate is actually costing you guys money because when you turn the a/c back on it has to cool down the high temps in the house. Contrary to popular opinion, it is better to leave the a/c on all day .... just if you are going to be gone for several hours and want to save a LITTLE bit of money you can move the unit up a few degrees while you guys are gone.

It sure did, from an outdoor question to inside growing. I also grow outside, 96° today, and my plants are thriving.
 
don't let your plants get thirsty! and try to avoid spraying the leaves. I use to do that but learned that the water on the leaves actually magnifies the suns intensity and burns the leaves.
