I need help with bubbleponics

I need help makeing a bubbleponic system. The reservoir is going to be a 10 gallon fishtank. I want to use cfls for lighting. Please write on comments telling me what to do for lighting with cfls, I also need to kno what kind of plant food i should use.

if youre going to use a fishtank, you need to lightproof it, otherwise algae will grow in the water and kill your babies.

for CFL lighting, use 6500K or 'daylight' spectrum for vegging. use 2700K or 'soft/warm white" spectrum for flowering

youll need some veg stage, bloom stage, and micro nutrients ( i use general hydroponics nutrients)

how many plants are you growing?
are you using rockwool?

im growing 2 plants and i am using rock wool with hydrotron around the rockwool. thnx ill think i ll use Rubbermaid plastic container like you did.

Yea I would definatley do away with a glass aquarium. Rubbermaid tubs work good. I have good luck with sterilite tubs the lid is flatter. I foil tape my resevoir to keep the res light proof. GH nutrients are good as well (thats what I use too) I am a little unsure of the Lucas feeding schedule tho. I did the Lucas schedule for 6 grows without a hitch but my last grow I had a ton of deficiencies to I would recommend goin to GH's website and following their feeding schedule I have eliminated all my problems this way.
