Hey guys

This is my first grow.I seem to have a bit of a issue. My plant doesn't seem to grow much at this point.
Here are some stat:
Super Silver Haze
approx week 5-6 ( since the point of germination)
average temp: 75
lowest temp: 68
avg hum: 40%
lowest hum: 30%(i think the meter was broken at this point though, not sure)
on a 18-6 cycle (with a very small amount leaking in to the plant during the night cycle since its in the living room)
soil: great garden soil (some long island brand) with a bag of 8qt perlite
nurt: Biothrive Grow (4-3-3)
also some pics

I was thinking it might have been pot-bound so i switched it over to a 3 gallon pot.

THANKS A LOT GUYSSSS

Most likely root bound in that starter tray, but since you re-potted that should solve that.
Also it looks over watered from the pic.

some stretching going on there too, lower ur lights. use the back of ur hand to feel for warmth, if its warm for u its too hot for the plants. keep the light as close as possible, no point in wasting it!

clean that nasty drip tray man... its not good for the roots to sit in that shit. i hope you buried some of the stem when you repotted, post pix here in a few days and we will see if she has improved

That plant looks like it's 5-6 DAYS from seedling. If it is in fact weeks you're talking about then a repot should have been done a month ago. Next time start with putting your seedlings in a solo cup for the first two weeks, then when you see roots popping through the bottom, transplant to a larger pot. By keeping it in a small germ tray like you were, you've been effectively making a bansai tree.

The low growth may also come from a lack of light. What kind of grow light are you using? I've grown this strain a couple years ago and just be warned that it'll stretch at LEAST 50% when in flower, so plan accordingly with your plant size in veg.

looks a bit over watered alright, you should let the soil dry out in between waterings, and then water well when it needs it and let it dry our again and so on, also like some1 said lower your lights a bit more, and also a repot would be good

Thank guys for the help... i raised the light to take the pictures but the plant is touching the light directly... it was over-watered probably cause i just watered but is that still too much water?...since the posts i have moved it over to a 3 gallon pot and next time ill do a solo cup instead of that starter thing thanks a lot guys

cool post some pics of the wee lady in her new pot, well like i said the trick with watering is simply to allow your medium to dry out enuff in between waterings, try leave it aslong as you can, if she was overwatered an this was your problem she should perk up in a few days, try and leave her go an extra day than you would like, an "under-watered plant" will show similar symptoms as an "over-watered" one and begin to wilft slightly just watch for this an be sure to water well when this happens, just keep an eye on things and you will find your sweet spot after a few waterings, best of luck m8

BTW what lights are you using? no plant should really touch lights, i mean maybe if your running LED's that would be ok , or maybe with CLf's with enuff fans but you could be getting heat stress too, post info on your lights

If that's a T5 HO above it, then yeah, it's WAY too close. If it's some BS shop light, then it might be okay to get that close.

Hey rockyyyyy. That pot looks MUCH better. Just remember, when you see roots coming through the bottom of the pot it's time to upgrade again.

Like another poster said, let the soil dry out completely before the next watering. They like a dry period. I like to wait till the top gets a little crusty then stick my finger down to the middle knuckle. If it's dry, I water.

Those little leaves always turn yellow for me too. It's usually because the soil you repot in is a hot mix, meaning that it has some fertalizers in it, either organic or otherwise. It's basically a small case of nute burn. I use foxfarm brand soil which is organic and it still burns those little seedling leaves. It'll get over it.

Hey rockyyy watch me pull a rabbit outta my hat !
Reduce waterings, get a fan and blow it at the soil its not drying because plant isnt drinking plus its cool weather. Bro i cant believe that thing is 6 weeks old and grew in a seedling tray most of the time, next time start in a pot and get better airation and moisture control.
