I started calling around and heard that the fire had gone from 1,200 to 14,000 acres overnight. So, I started packing everything up. Pictures, electronics, clothes, food. I sent my kid, the animals, and all my stuff with the neighbors and decided I was going to stay until I saw flames. I waffled a bit and almost took off yesterday when I started seeing ash rain, huge plumes, and helicopters/planes passing by every ten minutes. Last I checked it was up to 70k+ acres torched. 56 homes, 100 outbuildings lost. 4,000 volunteers, 9 bombers, 20 helicopters, 21 dozers, 10 water tankers, and one assload of fire trucks. Might not of been the smartest idea to wait, but it paid off. Apparently, they got control of the fire line last night and managed to re-route power from the dam. So, our power is back on, and I don't have to rely on my generator anymore.

I survived and so did all my plants, so I am celebrating with a hundred dollar bottle of bourbon I have been saving. Oh, and I took some pics for you guys.

Glad to hear good news coming from an otherwise terrible situation I hope your grow turns out better than expected and I wish the best of luck to you and all the people that the fire is affecting .........I was lucky enough to be far enough away from the fire but seen the devistation first hand like I said glad it all worked out and I wish you the best happy growing
