is the (local) separation of an object or material into two, or more, pieces under the action of stress. In other words, breaking. It's just a fancier word for breaking a bone.

well...... fuck u lol my dr. is a complete airhead then.. he actually said to me and i quote "we are going to have to take an x-ray because we need to look extremely close to the bone, to know whether its only a fracture, or a complete break".. i'm not a MD or anything lol, thats y when my dr said somethin, ya kno i figured, maybe i can believe him... the google machine certainly resolved yet another trivial dispute...
