I went to go check out Occupy Wall Street....and

I am originally from NYC and i was visiting family. I decided to take the train to check out this occupy wall street thing in person.

after my observations they are a bunch hippies that use macbooks. they absolutely trashed that place. I though hippies where pro environmental but whatever they are a bunch of hypocrites. It smells like shit & they are just making a party out of it. The city asked them to move for a while so they could clean up. It was so bad it was a health risk.

I know the cops have a bad rap for pepper spraying some people but the protesters get in the way. they block traffic so people who do have jobs cant get to work. The police are just trying to let people go to work that's why they tell them to move. People are throwing shit at them and the cops just take it. The cops are actually nice "please move to the side walk so traffic can flow through" while people are throwing shit at them.

I went in almost pro occupy wall street , but now that shit was just not acceptable.

I decided to stop going to the occupy in my city. There are too many people who have no idea about what the problem is.

Any time the media whores a demonstration, avoid it.

Tell me about it. I work downtown and cross Wall street everyday. They are an annoyance, that's about it. The other day walking home someone was interviewing people in the street and shoved the mike in my face trying to get a good quote. I guess I pissed him off cuz he asked how many hookers I got at home. I told him I got 5 midget hookers, 3 transvestites and a korean hooker bitch. He left me alone after that lol.

In My experience Cops in NYC are total fucking dickheads on New Years eve in Times Square. I was making a mental bodycount of how many drunks heads the Cops were busting open
Lost count after seeing 20 or so being hauled away

thats because you dont fuck with tourist attractions.

The problem is that unlike tea party rallies, they have no corporate sponsorship. With corporate sponsorship you can afford organized waste management and other amenities. That's what a grass movement protest really looks like. Sure, it's not perfect, but the cause makes it worth it.

I've seen videos of the cops pepper spraying people in designated zones on the sidewalk and dragging people off the sidewalks into the streets. But I guess that's ok because they are "hippies"?

They do have sponsors. they have tables that feed people for free and trashcans but they dont use them.

They have a corporate item that they bitch no one should support.

and i called them hippies out of observations & when people start throwing rocks at cops how do you think they will react. they dont show you those parts of the video do they.

Educate them as to what your view of the problem is, if you feel discouraged make a list, then write as to what you feel concludes your argument, when we come upon a hurdle we can use the energy and focus on overcoming it or we can just avoid it.

Maybe you should go check out one of the rallies. I went down to the one here in Chicago. People throwing glass beer bottles. People in the middle of the street when traffic is trying to get by. People terrorizing guys in suits walking by.
Some REAL respectable people...

I buy it completely. Take a look at Madison. Any time a pack of liberals stage a protest, it always looks like a hurricane came through. Empty trash cans and trash all over the ground... par for the course for that ilk.

I'm pretty sure the point is, these are a bunch of privileged kids that have never worked a day in their lives, still living off mom and dad, who most likely do work, trying to tell us how bad capitalism is for us. I weep for the future of this country if even 2% of our young adults identify with these clowns. Fortunately, from the size of the protests, their numbers are infinitesimal.

No, the footage will exist. But, if you are watching the MSM, you'll never see it. The cheerleaders for the administration have their marching orders and they're doing their very best to make a couple of thousand morons look like a vast movement. In their wet dreams they manage 1/1000th the number of people in the Tea Party. It's a joke, looks like fun, but it's a sad little attempt to stir up the base.
