I really hate people like the d00d that started this thread. Negative losers who need to come online and start convo's. Good work buddy.. next time come up with something better..

Even if OG was better and if this site did suck.. who the hell are you? nobody? We dont need to hear it from you.

yeah i always wondered if people worried about that in nocal, because like every pot smoker in the US has heard of nocal, and how thats were all the good cali grows. i'd figure theres alot of scavengers prowlin around up there. i'd deffinently get me a shotgun. come out there in nothin but tighty whities and boots at 3 in the morning, like a farmer in the night shooting the shotty in the air chaseing away cow tippers. Overgrow was the shiiiiiiiiiite! BOG was a master. The site was revolutionary and informative with grow gurus from all over the world. I tear up a little when I think about it, but its gone. When I found overgrow years ago, I was reading the crap on the high times site trying to get information about growing. There were more lies and kids posting crap on hightimes site than anything else. Then I found a beacon of professional growers at OG. It was like I had a new family. RIU is now the best growing site on the net. period!

The thing that I liked best about OG was that they deleted posts referring to other drugs and frowned upon discusssing the SALE of cannabis. Also, if a lot of these silly teenager posts would have been deleted making the searches more profitable. IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE GROWING.

RIU has the ability to attract a lot of top notch growers and in time will be as cool as OG. As you may can tell by my name, I spent a little time on overgrow. Albfuct was on OG but on this site he reminded me so much of BOG with his willingness to help. He is an inspiration to me and thousands of others for sure. Thank you BOG and ALBFUCT for sharing your knowledge and experience with us!

Lets stop the hating and educate each other. PEACE

Maybe my last Bogbubble seedlings will make it and I will toast them both as I fire up a spliff.

awe man... i click on any link that says overgrow...

it was the best... by far, RIU is approaching the same size OG was when it got busted (133,000 members)...

i learned everything from OG... i wish the pothead community could agree on a safe stop to put the PRICELESS strain guide... sooooo fucking helpful, i also wish all the weed sites could contribute to it... and keep it de-centralized so it cant be destroyed.

the karma system (REP) was invented on OG by shabang i believe his name was.... now its in all of the forums...

the hydroponic section was also top notch... i remember one thread where a professor from some university had to log in to OG to ask a question about his tomato plants and nutrient deficiency ;-) he got schooled! fucking hilarious

also, back in the OG days, disk space was expensive - but they still had UNLIMITED uploads to your gallery, with no shitty ass 600pixel resolution.

the censorship got out of hand at the end, after they removed the "shark tank"...
