Ideas on new setup going Hydro NEED TIPS !! ;) THANKS

Hey would like to thank everyonee in advice open to any tips. P.S still a newb. Basically
A)I want to know if I would have enough light coverage for all 4 plants to Veg and flower or should I go with a 400 watt hps.
b)Is my tent big enough for my set up (Think I'll get a half a pound?).
C)Also what type ventilation system should I get, not really trying to get a inline fan wondering if a (two) 6in duct fans will be fine.

Personally i wouldn't worry so much about the mh bulb first time round, but get a dimmable digi ballast and a couple of 600w bulbs. start off with low power setting for the new seedlings then edge up to full whack by flower time. If you're finding heat an isssue with your fan set up you can always back off the power until you get it sorted.

I would have at a minimum 600 watts in a tent that size. You could pick up a 600w on Amazon probably around the same price as that. 250 is small for that size. I wouldn't worry about yields just yet and focus on getting everything else set up first. Duct booster fans would probably work but you should rethink tent size if you want to keep it 400 or below. Maybe a 3x3 or something along those lines. Its good to research things on here. Lots of useful information and check out the newbie forums.. lots of your questions will be answered from the stickied threads. Also, if it's your first grow u should try soil first... more buffer for errors.

How about this setup with 2 DWC (plan on building my own). This will be my second grow by the way. Still a newb Lol.

now for your choices u are missing a few things

those bubblers are not worth it unless u change out the air stones to micro pores and increase the str of the pump
the other part is a hid light and black buckets u are going to have IR and air temp heat aborb into the buckets warming the water killing the roots or lowering the over all what u get ..............the stronger air pump and the micro pore stones will help off set this some but u need the tent to be sitting on some cold concrete so the buckets stay cool ................other wise u need a water chiller hooked to a RDWC system (like the bucket but they are all interlinked and the water always moves around in the 4 plant buckets plus a mixing cell bucket)


something like this is what u would need .................if u have the money do LED it will reduce the amount of AC u need for the room

Id opt for 6oo watt

Also don't get that crappy duct fan, especially if you are going to use a open air reflector. Get a 6 inch axial hybrid or centrifugal fan and then you shouldn't have much trouble with temp issues
