If Corporations are people...

All under the impression this is mere rhetoric are severly mis-informed. Congress recently proposed a bill giving corporations the rights of a citizen. This is a serious issue. The fact that about 90% of people dont know about this political move is a sign. A sign from the government and a sign of the disease of complacency imposed on the american people. If you think im full of shit, do your research. I believe the "Koch Brothers" is a good place to start.

So it has already been passed?

The way I see it, if they are people, they are taxed like people. From what I see this is pretty bad in America, where the people who make the most pay the less tax. But if the lowest income paid the least amount, and the highest paid the most, it'd be beneficial. What else could go wrong?

Actually it was (sadly) ruled by the supreme court some time back. Our political system is an absolute mess because corporations can make huge anonymous donations to political campaigns of their choice.
I thought so at first. Just from watching John Stewart and Colbert, but when someone corrected me I accepted it, since they aren't always the best of sources

That sucks that they are people...
Like...damn...
