This was your pathetic straw man response. Totally mischaracterizing my argument as if I was saying Republicans switched to Democrats just to pass the CRA. This is why you deserve the moniker 'dumbfuck'.
so you have never held that the cra caused racist democrats to switch sides?

sure you did. your north/south argument is actually the straw man as is the "big switch".

democrats north and south fought to protect slavery for 100 years....the only opposition was republicans in the north as there were no southern republicans.

we all know what being Republican got you in the south now don't we?

why yes, southern black conservatives still vote republican.
Yeah, like all 10 of them lmao.

black southern vote switched to dem in the 30s with the new deal. white southern vote switched to pub in the 70s and 80s as racism declined and industry moved south.

that's history, and it doesn't fit your narrative.
Only in your brainwashed mind. The black southern vote in 30s was between a rock and a hard place (Dem and Rep). They may have liked FDR but race issues were largely ignored by both parties.

Racism didn't decline in the 70s and 80s, it only realigned under the party that started blowing the racist dog whistle to try to win more votes. Over time, the constituency and legislators became what was the Democratic party of pre-1970.

Holocaust denial would be more believable than that.

Southern whites are racists who now vote republican, nazi boi.

But I bet you have the whole trailer park convinced of your genius.

You mean what being a progressive liberal towards racial issues got you?

See, you like to talk parties not ideological spectrum to muddy a subject where you know you are wrong.

Try to confront the actual argument:

Not that literal legislators switched immediately, the demographics shifted which shifted the ideology via who the demographics voted for over time. The Republicans post 1980, including the ones I named, are much closer ideologically to the Democratic legislators pre-1980 than Democrats today. Democrats today are further left than Republicans pre-1970. Let's start there. Do you get it?
democrats today are further left than roosevelt....whos book "the way forward" received rave reviews by Benito Mussolini in Italian magazines.....proclaiming fdr "is one of us".

yet you don't hear me calling anyone here fascist or a piece of shit or what not do you child?

Mussolin declared war on fDr along with his buddy hitler, who hated jews as much as you do and called him 'the eternal jew'.

Just so that we get history right and don't lend credence to your alt-history.

Mussolini was wrong. The book was "Looking Forward" btw. Mussolini called it "reminiscent of fascism" in that fdr called for regulations of the market and government interference when absolutely necessary. However, FDR actually enacted the third way in practice, not totalitarian socialism. You've been fooled once again by the retarded misis institute.

Are you arguing that while government needs checks and balances, the free market does not?

you mean what being a free market, equal opportunity proponent of free speech got you.....

im not lumping groups here, just trying to shed facts on your notion of the big switch myth and help you get back to reality a bit.....yall seem to be in this weird slump where Ben shapiro isn't jewish, fascism wasn't founded by a socialist, Larry elder is racist, and anyone you disagree with in general is just the scum of the earth.

There are many racists in my blue state of Oregon, they just happen to be a minority now and mostly rural. What is your point? Nvm, I really don't care.

You are calling it a big switch, I said gradual you straw man douche.

You are regressing on the facts again. Try to read carefully:

1. Shapiro writes for anti-Jew Breitbart. If he is Jewish, he is one huge fool.

2. Fascism differs from Marxism greatly but Marxism was used as a reference point for Gentile and fascists to navigate the path to what really is totalitarian communism. The subjugation and mass murder of minorities isn't Marxist, neither is top down authoritarian rule.

3. People that mischaracterize their oppostion are scummy, which is all you've done in this conversation. You know what you are doing, or maybe you don't.

“Reminiscent of Fascism is the principle that the state no longer leaves the economy to its own devices … Without question, the mood accompanying this sea change resembles that of Fascism.”

there is the full quote for you.

no wonder you don't like it's entirety.

Those antifa in the south aren't republicans, just like the racists in my state ARE republicans. . Your point is moot.
Buck said southern whites are racist clearly not all southern whites or ANTIFA members would be hanging. Not to mention many Mexicans and black people live in Texas I don't see any lynching going on....
