if the light inside my house shines on my outdoor plants at night will it hermie them

I have some out door plants on my deck outside. The lights at night shine out my windows onto them. Will that turn them into hermies? They are just now getting pre flowers.

Wouldnt imagine so mate. Plants that are grown outdoors are never in total darkness what with the moon, light pollution from cities. Lightning and whatever else you can think of. I would if possible minimise the amount of light they do get at night though. Just to be safe.

I had some outdoor plants once in a backyard and the lights from the sports ground behind the house totally fuked with the budding they didn't hermie but they never got phat they kept sprouting new growth...those lights were hid's so I guess there was more of a issue with them then you probibly have but if I were you I would try and cover your windows
