im still speculating as to how much space I have. 36x24x65 ought be pretty close though, sounds about right for a decent size dresser. I have yet to build this idk if I wrote that earlier, just sizing everything up for now. I like the a51 xgs 190 but my concern is heat. I realize LED's run much cooler than any other light ive used in the past but still.
Right On Brother I Currently Have A 240 Watt Led In My Cab That's 36x22x65 . Ive Also Had A 400 Watt Cmh In Their Too So I Wouldnt Worry About Heat Issues.I Will Post Some Pics Tonight For Ya,Might Give Ya Some Ideas. Also I Wished Id Made Mine 75 inches Tall bongsmilie

Can anyone recommend a good led setup for my 4x8 tent? I've read good things a out advanced led's diamond series, lumigrow, kind led, and area 51.

Can anyone suggest a good led light setup that would allow optimal growth with a $1000-$2000 budget?

The best way to think about it is in 2'x2' sections. So, the question is what would be best lamp be for $250.00 to cover a 2'x2'?
I think with that budget there is only one choice. http://www.bonsaihero.com/ledgrow-led-panel-80-watt.html
You would need 8 of them.

Why not get 3 or 4 xgs 190s?

I plan on adding a couple more led lights before summer to switch out for my 600 and I'm leaning to 2 xgs and 1 sgs. But I'm heating a new a 51 light is in the works so I might just wait for that.

Your Welcome Brother. At 1 Time I Had 2 Muffins With A DIY Carbon Filter. It Does Work For A Couple Of Days.Check Out Pick 2,You Can See The Hole For The Muffin Fan.However If Your Trying To Be Stealth I Would Highly Suggest A 4 Inch Phresh Filter With A 6 Inch Max Fax.mY 240 Watt Led Is A Custom Made Led I Got from A Friend And We Have No Idea What Spectrum It Is.

If its worth it sure, but I dont mind saving up a little more if it would be better to get something else. I just dont want to be disappointed with whatever I do get but I will do some research on both.

Also I cant really find anything about the bonsai heros as far as reviews go or anything like that, just a few references back to this site

I'm looking for a new led to compliment my VIPAR A300, and i've been looking at these Bysen LED's.

They have a series called Helios, and i've looked at the H163D model, and it looks really good on paper!

They also have another series called SP and a light called SP113D. Also looks good!

Anyone have any experience with this manufacturer? Perhaps even these particular models?

EDIT: Found this site from the UK that look VERY promising! Really good prices and overall seems very legit.
http://www.budmaster.co.uk/Content/182/LED-Grow-Lights Anyone running these budmaster panels?

Best Regards! :)

Since we're kind of on the subject of lights and space.... I'm building a 4' x 4' x 7' cabinet soon (four plants), and I'm wondering how many XGS-190s I should put in there. Would three be too many?

Thanks!

Not that i dont think being able to get inside your panel is cool... and a lesson in it's own... I also think if the manufacture makes it THAT easy.. it's a bad sign of what you can expect for lifespan.

Get something with a few, if not lifetime warranty. LEDs are a long term investment, might as well stretch it as far as you can.

hey brotha how much did your phresh filter set you back? I mean I only plan on having probably 2 plants in the area. not worried about a lil stank n im not growing anything that would require extra control like a skunk or something. like how big of a deal would you say your filter is. thanks again for all the advice

*looks around..*

..me?

i just got a 6" Phresh Filter, 24" long. A month or so ago on a Greners' deal- shipped for $160

something to consider, if you go to green gator filters and email them asking about the half off sale that jus ended, I almost guarantee you could get it.. Newer tech and design. better quality, better service, longevity too? We'll see... And with the prefilters, flange, and shipping- came right at $160... So you're call how you want to spend your $$$$

I just bought two greengators... for that price on that quality of product...

as for the "bushmaster" panels, these were just covered a few pages back. Look into something REPUTABLE.

The simple answer is no.
Four XGS's will replace a 1000W HPS, so that should give you some kind of guideline in term of what to expect.
It all depends on your budget and the yield you want.
Good luck.

Does anyone have experience with these? Found them while researching the Inda-Grow PAR values considering the inverse square implications.
