Looking to expand my Led Garden. I have this inability to ever decide between the few options I always narrow my decisions down to, be it deciding what to eat, or what video game I want to buy.

I currently own an Illumitex Neosol and am very satisfied with it. That being said I am torn between trusting the brand I own and have produced results with and trying out new and updated technology.
Anyone have any recommendations? Down to the point where I know I'll practically be satisfied with any of these choices probably. RIU please just decide for me.

I'm gonna be selfish and say Illumitex neosol..............because I have seen zero grows with it;-)

I thought you had a gavita plasma and a few 150hps? Where has the neo sol been??? No one ever has an illumitex grow going.

Are you trying to decide for a 5x5?

In a space that size you will need a bigger unit or multiple smaller ones.

yeah I have one 300w Neosol and really do love it. Wish it maybe had a little higher umol rating but have had very impressive results.and yesir a 5x5 area. And yeah I would purchase multiple smaller units looking at a 2k budget

What wattage are you looking towards. Another 300 watts or more. I've had the magnumplus and the magnumplus2, but now moving up in wattage. I have been looking at the G2 parmaxx 800 watts and the sol9 with 100 watt COBs, 900W. My 2 mags have been giving me 1 gpw. I just can't do over $1200 for 300 watts on the neosol when I can get 800 watts for the same price or less. Even though I'm spending someone elses $1200.

I'm guessing you are talking about the magnum. I've never liked their website, but I've had great results with both lights and their service when a power supply went out. In 2 days they had me a new one. If you're talking about the Sol9, I have no experience with them.

I would stay away from those magnum "parmax" panels OP............bad china quality that may start a fire!!! post from a forum member:

  • Here is a few pics of the light.. been trying to call for almost a week and no one has called me back or anserd the phone.. light is only 3 mouths old.. so will in the warranty.. hope this not one of those companys that say they have a warranty and dont fulfill it.. other then the 1 light going bad. the light looks to be doing good.. wish magnum or greenguy whould call me back.. i hope my $800.00 was not wasted on JUNK.. and NEW2LED if u know someone working with magnum or greenguy post something that i can use to get it fixed plz... Thxs and your grow is looking good BTW..

appreciate the input, definitely not opposed to a cheaper light but, bottom line is I am looking for pure quality/results.

Wow I would love more details on the Neosol... Decent penetration? Is it good for vegging too? ( I heard it has a pretty heavy flower spectrum) I was looking at those when I got my Lumigrow, but its hard to find good info on them...
