i dont like talkin politics but am i wrong for thinkin this is a industry issue, not a party issue? far as i know , legalizing weed would only make pharmacuticals go broke and dip into plastics pockets. there are reps and dems with money in both industries

Grow your own.... i should have started once I got my red card but have a spouse which is ignorant to MMJ but slowly coming around.

These shops don't care about your iisues or ailments......all they want it the $$$$. Oh, and PLEASE someone correct me if I am wrong but I am sure a good percentage of Dispensary workers make out with a gift ....that is why they do not make much money.

Also, I thought about getting my MMSE but, think about it...WHy do I want to go through a rigorous application prcess and haveing my personal shit gone through...financial checks, criminal checks, even a credit check?

Fuck all that mess for $9.00 an hour.

Here is another thing I get pissed about...The dispensary I am signed to can really fuck labeling medicine...Example...

They had supposedly has some SUper Lemon Haze...ok, it looked a little different as to wht i am used to what SLH looks like...so I buy an eighth..go home and smoke some...didnt taste it at all...Went back to the shop the next day and informed them this was no SLH...then they came to me and aid they made a mistake and mis marked it as Dela Haze or something .

I told a buddy of mine about that and he said you should have made a big stink and culd have shut their op down...think about it...this is our medicine...If I go to a pharmacy and had needed say Percocet and gave me Tramadol...they can get into some serious shit...

Eh what the fuck.the shop I am signed to..nice people but could care less about anything else...prices are GREAT! But when it comes to a benifit to have a dispensary be your giver ...they dont do shit ..only 1 guy I like there now ...and another coool ass dude parted ways...

I have a buddy that signed to aother shop and they give him an ounce every 90 days ...and get great deals and discounts.

Im hungry..i need to eat.bye

Who'd a thunk growing weed, a plant that is naturally hardy and thrives in the wild would almost be rendered extinct by a bunch of uptight fucking republicans. We should make being a republican illegal. Broke folks should not be republican and we are 99% of Murica.

Just sayin. :bigjoint:
weed prohibition started with the Harrisson Narcotics Act in 1914 (woodrow wilson (d) was president, dems controlled the congress in 1914 BTW) which prohibited coca and opiates, as well as weed.
overturned by the courts.

this was followed by The Uniform State Narcotics Act of 1934 (created by the feds, to be enacted by the states of their own volition, OR ELSE) in '34, FDR (d) was president and the congress was controlled by dems
(eventually abandoned as the courts demolished too much of it)

then came the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937 (FDR and the dems again)
rejected by the courts

then came the Controlled Substances Act (under nixon, but dems controlled both houses of congress) which continues to this day, despite the dems contolling the congress, and SEVERAL dem presidents (none of whom had the slightest inclination to end the prohibition)

so WHO banned Jah's Love?

a bunch of uptight DEMOCRATS with a few republican accomplices

if youre gonna be a partisan and blame the other side for shit, you might wanna check the facts.

Noted Republican, Diane Feinstein, has an opinion about cannabis:

Dianne Feinstein is emerging as one of Washington's toughest critics of the Obama administration's tolerance for marijuana use. Long a strident supporter of the government's War on Drugs, the 81-year-old Democrat is showing no sign of bowing to the shifting views of constituents in California and colleagues on Capitol Hill.

That's interesting because the Colorado governor said the same thing but that he voted yes because the majority of the state wanted it legalized. He didn't strictly go by his own beliefs.
Sorry man , I am totally against unions. They tie progress within companies. One occupation that truly needs unionization is trucking. Those guys get screwed all the time. Unions are needed in jobs where they have you by the balls. Public service jobs? NO
I love unions...Unions built america hands down not unskilled labor or republican's they represent the will and want of the employed worker... thats the unions I support as well as others as for slowing progress who's progress? W/o unions no labor job would make near what they do ...Corporations would be back to paying you w/ "Company money" Where you could only pay for your items at company stores. Right to work is horrible and works out best for people who are to lazy to go get a education, think they should make as much or have the right to do the work of a person who has been educated in whatever it is they do, gives them the right to undercut the scale's and do the work at half the amount of what other people are already doing the job's at who does that really work out for really?

hmm

so a thread that starts out bitching about "republican's" (teh fux with the possessive??) banning weed morphs into "republican's" opposing unions, yet the DEMOCRATS were the ones leading the charge to ban weed, DESPITE the stated will of the people, and lauding the virtues of unions which are NOT representatives of "Teh Werkers"

unions are organizations of control, dominated by organized crime, led by shiftless hucksters who spend all their time lining their own pockets at the expense of the very workers they claim to represent.

unions didnt build shit, they are parasites, sucking the marrow from both the workers AND capital.

Sometimes unions are good and help the worker. Sometimes unions are bad and destroy the company. I gave an example earlier of Hostess where the drivers(teamsters) agreed to wage cuts but the bakers went on strike. The CEO told them to get back to work or they would shut down. They shut down te plants and laid everyone off and went BK.

It's an interesting story about unions. Look it up they almost killed off Twinkies.

I still don't see why public services are unionized. Which one of those 1930's tactics are these public servants exposed to?

They are exposed to the RIGHT to NEGOTIATE there terms of employment....Not what a committee in a city or state thinks they should have, being that they themselves probably have little to no experience to draw to say what the needs of these people truly are. Just like the brass on on a union job site building powerhouses and such .....Take Bechtel vs Becon .....Or the "Union" vs "Non-union" side of the same company. The "COMPANY" would love to pay a bunch of half ass experienced scabs under a handful of union rats as there boss to cut cost's it makes perfect sense for big corporations none of which give a fuck about you nor I ...Or that really care if you make it home tonight from todays shift as long as the percent comes in on time. Thats why unions exist's and they work and have since the coal miners you show me where "Fair pay for Fair work" Has ever hurt the economy? Show me one recession or decline in the GDP or people 401k's contributed to them @Dr Kynes

How about we just ban political parties and make people stand on THEIR own merit instead?

Hell, Carter, Clinton, Obama, ALL could have used their "super" democrat powers to decriminalize the ganja, but they didn't. California is among, if not THE, most pro-democrat party state in the nation and have had ample opportunities to decriminalize the ganja, but they didn't. And on the other hand, the republicans could have used their "super" republican powers to completely crush the entire medical movement, but they didn't.

The issue of cannabis, and how BOTH parties have treated it, is one of MANY issues that prove beyond a reasonable doubt EXACTLY how full of shit EACH party truly is, which means they should be abandoned by any citizen with integrity and even an iota of reason.

History has shown time and again the folly and downright EVIL of any given "party" system, and we are no better than any other bunch of assholes...
